I agree. I have a Grand Seiko for sale to buy it. I think it will retain its value better than a Grand Seiko. I have the gmt with the olive dial and the orange seconds hand.
My Kurono GMT 1 eats both these Seiko alive regurgitates them and devours them again. Limited to less than 200 units yeah a real limited edition by the only grandmaster Kamisama Asaoka San as designated by the Japanese government as the only master watchmaker. There are seikopaths then there's people like me. Psycho on another level. Real Limited check Made by a master watchmaker check, unlike these made somewhere in Myanmar or Laos. True GMT check. Accurate to -1 to+3 seconds per day. So if getting +10 seconds on a common Seiko is like winning a million bucks on a lottery. I won the jackpot of a billion. Cool! Like the dial on the SLA but don't need all the compass markings... Still, I find it an attractive model. ;)
