I just assumed when I heard the low F that it was a 5-stringed violin, since a lot of my favorite violinists on youtube (Paul Dateh, Peter Lee Johnson) seem to be playing 5-stringed violins. :) I play violin usually, but I did try playing a viola once and it was fun!

The Piano Gal I mainly play piano, but last September I started learning the viola, and I can now play the more simple pop songs pretty well. I think I'm a year or so away from being good enough to record it along with piano, but if you're really motivated I'm sure you can learn very quickly.
I learn violin and it hurts your shoulders and your neck sometimes . You have to built up stamina to hold up your violin. And it's a little hard . But not that bad . I love violin. Its a fun instrument. ;)
You can see the passion they have with their smiles and movements playing the instruments. This, my friends, is the passion that should be in modern music: joy and enthusiasm from the heart, not from lust.
I simply love both your facial expressions when you play. That, right there, is just true passion and I really think thats one of the most beautifull thing. I sing a bit myself and i just know that feeling of disseapering completely into the Music - i know you're a lot more talented than me, but hey, a passion is a passion no matter how bad you are ;)
