    1 x Large rolling pin
    Sharp Knife
    Star Cutter
    Pastry Brush
    Turntable/Lazy Susan
    You Will also need:
    1 x fruitcake
    2.5lb Marzipan
    2.5lb White Sugarpaste/Roll out icing
    250g red Modelling paste
    edible pearls - available in most large supermarkets
    Shredless Maralade
    Small pot of water
    Icing sugar
    Cake Board/Drum

    You are very good and show us all decorations to looks easy even with me i have a little experience of previous decorations on my xmas cake still a little nervous when come to this type of decorations.congratulations on ur work .Thanks4 show this to so many people now.

    Just a good suggestion- heat your jam before you put it on your cake and sieve it. Makes it perfect. Another suggestion if you use alcohol on your marzipan it doesn’t make it wet and the icing really sticks.

    A smoother would have helped smooth the psstes closer to the cake andbthe bottom and would avoid those holes at the bottom esp if you're not piping a border.

    Hi is the White Sugarpaste/Roll out icing different from Royal icing with the egg whites.Thanking you

      Hi yes, it is different. royal icing although it sets hard it’s a much softer when your working with it you couldn’t roll it out like you can with sugarpaste. Hope that helps xx

      Hi there isn’t a link but it’s renshaw red modelling paste which you can buy from most cake decorating websites and supermarkets now too. X

    Use cornflour not icing sugar to roll out. Icing sugar will make it stick

      You shouldn't use cornflour to roll marzipan as it will ferment on the cake and go mouldy.

    You're turning it 90 degrees not 45 degrees
