Fab makes! You can't beat a quick and satisfying make and you've made some good ones this month. Love the PJ's! I sized down for the toaster version 2 as well. You'll find version 1 is quite snug around the hip area if you ever make that version. My fringe grows so quick, I'm always having to cut it myself lol, and I usually look at myself in my videos and think how wonky it looks lol. Xx
That just made me laugh! I did nearly cut my fringe myself just before the video 🤣. Yes I noticed that version 1 of the toaster has completely different finished garment measurements. Think I’ll defo give that a go at some point 😊
So wish I knew about you last year Roe-anne ...you would have cheered me up no end with everything that's going on 😁...your a joy to watch and fabulous makes 👌💝. Really looking forward to seeing more of your channel and your doing amazingly well with learning all the gadgets of you tubing. I'm still struggling to get to grips with posting on Instagram 😋😁😘
Hi Sally 👋🏼. Good to have you with us 🤪. It all takes practise doesn’t it. One step at a time. I don’t think I’ll ever be an editing queen 👸🏼 but I’m ok with that. Just raw unedited videos from me 🤣
A relatively new subscriber- and love your channel... love your Yorkshire colloquialisms... always make me smile... from a Liverpudlian living in Queensland, Australia 😜 where it’s stinking hot- 34° today 🥵🥵🥵
I love all your makes, especially your dress. I have that jacquard fabric too but mine is aqua, I’d planned to make a Toaster version 1, but I might make version 2, yours is beautiful.
Great makes, the top for your Mum is fabulous she will absolutely love it.. Your house must be a full of laughter. The tilly top looks good I have that fabric in my stash, but that dress really does suit you.
i know im randomly asking but does anyone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost the login password. I love any assistance you can give me.
@Chaim Vance i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Love this sweater on you especially the fabric! I've made the toaster too, the other version. Wish I could get hold of some of that fabric. Sew sew sew only have the black and white version as a remnant piece.
Thank you so much 😊. I’m definitely going to make the other version this autumn because I absolutely love it! If I see any of this fabric anywhere I’ll make sure I let you know 👍🏼
Do it! I don’t think you’ll look back with either of them. The Mandy Boat Tee is the quickest make ever. Good as a palette cleanser maybe after you’ve done your coat 😉
I love all of your makes! The toaster sweater looks fab on you, I haven't tried that version of it but I think I need to! The PJs for your boys are so lovely. I'm not a fan of facings either, I don't like how they can flip up and how they are a pain to iron flat. Thanks for sharing, your vlogs always make me smile, they are so fun, you have such a great sense of humour xx
Love the cute pyjamas for your boys. You have made some great things this month, which really work for you, I’m always planning, but would need to sew five things per week to realise them all !
Thank you Ruth! I know EXACTLY what you mean! I’ve started writing everything down that I’d like to do (which is a huge list 😂) and then each month I go through and pick out maybe 4 that make me smile when I think about them 🙂
I am also 5’9”. It took me till I was in my 40s to really embrace my height and start wearing seriously high heels. It was so liberating and fun to enjoy those 4” heels!
Your makes were brilliant for me because I have all those patterns. I'm inspired to make the Lotta now! I made the Mandy Boat Tee with a lovely patterned jersey fabric but used plain black jersey for the arms so it looks like its layered. I made the Toaster No. 2 with a navy boucle and that has turned out brilliantly. Love your channel!
I love all your makes. You have gotten so much done! The boys look adorable in their PJs. I watch too much true crime LOL - I can't help thinking of blood spots when I see that fabric you are wearing! The top is fab, though. Looking forward to your next vlog!
I am planning to make the toaster sweater and you have helped me decide what size to make. I don't like over sized clothes on me. I traced the pattern in a small graded out to medium but the sleeves are ready narrow so I made them an inch wider along with the armholes.. Hopefully it will work. Love yours by the way.
Well done on your subscribers lovely! Don't dismiss all crepe til you've tried a wool crepe!( presses beautifully, very expensive!) Im a massive AGF jersy fan but thenend up stashing it coz i dont want to waste it!! I love an Agnes but I ve never tried the pouffy sleeve- yours looks fab!
Thank you! Ooh you’re right. I shouldn’t dismiss until I’ve tried it all! I know what you mean about stashing expensive fabric. I usually like to only use it on a pattern I’ve already made and know it’ll fit me ok..don’t want to waste it!
Hi ya, love all your makes. I agree about facings, I’m not a fan, I use bias binding instead, you can save a bit of fabric too. Take care and love to you and yours. Xx😁
Hi Lorraine 👋🏼. Yes I’ve been contemplating binding but it takes quite a bit longer and I’m impatient 😂. I do like the point you made about saving fabric though 👍🏼
You’ve done so well again this month with your makes. Love them all. My fav has to be your Agnes that fabric is 😍😍😍 you should try the Freya from the stretch book I bet you would love it. It’s a cross between the Agnes and Coco. I need to venture out into more pattern companies though and you have inspired me to look & get them printed at a copier I never even thought of that! 😅
I’ve got the Freya on my January list 😉. Go for it Becky. I use Fabricate to print mine as they’re local but think there’s a lot of printing companies that do it pretty cheap. Can’t be arsed to print and stick myself 🤣
Lovely makes and fabric ! Its really helpful when you mention about what size you went for and why! 👍. I ponder over this bit of the pattern for tooo long! Thanks 🧵✂️
Oh I hear ya! The amount of times I go back to a pattern to double check sizes 🤦🏻♀️. I’ve started going more off the finished garment measurements though as I kind of know how much ease I want in my garments now (if that makes sense!) x
I’m ready to sew up the lotta, but agree with you about facings and find that many of the TATB patterns have the same high neckline facing 🤔. Great vlog 🤗
Yes they do! The Indigo dress is the same. I’ve only made it once but wasn’t happy with how it sat. Maybe bias binding is the way forward but I’m not sure I have the patience 🤣
Thank you so much for your videos they are brilliant could I please ask where you got your dress form I just love the lace affect many thanks 😊 From a Yorkshire lass in the USA
I’m trying to remember everything that I wanted to comment on, because I tend to want to leave so many separate little messages, and maybe that’s annoying. So, Your work is really lovely!! Your little guys are so cute! That Art Gallery fabric is gorgeous. Your potty mouth could NOT be worse than mine. And I completely agree about facings - I think they too often end up looking unprofessional. I’m sure I’ve forgotten some things. Oh well - I’m old!
Its kind of fun sometimes being tall, isnt it? I'm just over 5'9" tall too. Its nice to find a vlogger who is my height. Do you have to do very many length adjustments in the body, arms, or legs of your makes, or are they usually fine? Could you mention it on your vlogs if you do hxve to make adjustments? It would give me and other taller girls a heads up if we want to make the same patterns.
Hi Linda 👋🏼. Yes I like being tall although sometimes I’d like to wear heels and not tower over everyone 🤣. Yes I do usually do adjustments to length on the body and arms however I didn’t do any of those adjustments on these patterns. I quite like the shorter look in tops so it’s worked for me. I’ll definitely let you know if I do though (on my October makes I talked about adding on length to the arms of my coat as I have really long arms 🤷♀️🤪) x
I love the blue print of the Lotta dress.
Thank you Dee 😊
I love your witty personality, you make me laugh!
Thank you Elaine 😘

I made the lotta dress and i love it. I made it with viscose, which gave a lovely draped but with the pockets
Oooh nice. I think a viscose would be really nice in it 😍
First time watcher, love your makes. Love your humour I've subscribed so I'm off to watch your other videos now. 😁
Thank you so much. Glad to have you on board 😝
You are a breath of fresh air to sewing videos, love your pattern choices too 🙂
Thank you Vicky! 😊

I love all your makes, especially your dress. I have that jacquard fabric too but mine is aqua, I’d planned to make a Toaster version 1, but I might make version 2, yours is beautiful.
Thank you so much Elizabeth 😊. I’d live to try version 1 of the toaster too. I’ve seen so many gorgeous versions of it 😍
I love all of your garments, especially the boy's PJs. Those labels are great!
Thank you Jennifer 😊. I just couldn’t resist those labels 😍
Great makes, the top for your Mum is fabulous she will absolutely love it.. Your house must be a full of laughter. The tilly top looks good I have that fabric in my stash, but that dress really does suit you.
Thank you so much 😊. My kids don’t find me funny 🤪
Love the boys' pyjamas! And Mum's Mollie top
Thank you Vicki 😊
Love your toaster! Enjoying your vlogs. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you for a lovely comment 😊

@Chaim Vance It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much you really help me out!
Just found your RUclips channel and love your sense of humour. Great recommendation about the Mandy Boat Tee pattern & will look at getting that.
Thank you Alison 😊 Yes definitely give it a go. Such a lovely relaxed pattern that’s easy to sew up and it’s free...what more can we ask for? 😝
Thank you for another great video, you always make me laugh. Love all your makes, especially the top for your mum. X
Thank you Angela! Glad I make you smile. Think we all need that at the moment 😊. Really hope my Mum likes it 🤞
I love your Agnes and all your makes 💖 your two boys look so chuffed with their pj’s 👍🏻🤩 x
Thank you Sarah! Think they were so happy because it was the first thing I’ve ever made them 😬🤪
@@theyorkshiresewgirl haha, pj’s every year now! My daughter is 15 and I still see them for her 💖
@@sewsarahstitch aww that’s lovely. If I make them too big then I should only have to do it once every two years though right? 🤔🤣
New to your channel and I’m loving it. Love your down to earth personality, makes me feel at home
Hi Vicki 👋🏼. Thank you for watching. Glad you enjoyed it 😊

Love all your makes! The fabric for your Lotta dress is gorgeous!!
Thank you honey. I’m really happy with how it turned out in the end 😊
I love your Toaster Sweater I'm so tempted by this pattern as I've not made one yet! Or a Mandy Boat Tee for that matter - you're inspiring me :) xx
Do it! I don’t think you’ll look back with either of them. The Mandy Boat Tee is the quickest make ever. Good as a palette cleanser maybe after you’ve done your coat 😉
Hi I love your video, such great makes. The pj’s were a great hit with your boys. Julie. Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺❤️
Thank you Julie. My little one insisted on wearing them again tonight 🙈🤣
I really enjoy your makes and your videos. I think the Toaster is next for me!
Thank you Denise 😊. Do it!!! 😜

Hi 👋🏼. I’m a big fan of your channel 😊
@@theyorkshiresewgirl that's very kind thank you x
Great makes! I like when you mention the size you made and fit adjustments....it’s always helpful to hear others process!
