I’m relearning garment sewing after taking a 30 year break from
childhood. I’m so glad I found your channel. Your videos are so helpful! I love listening to your future plans and brainstorming with all the lovely fabrics! Great descriptions for the fabrics as well. That’s something I think many sewists assume we all know. So much is purchased online nowadays. It’s nice to hear your tactile descriptions! That blouse is lovely and I can’t wait to see how the new fabrics turn out!

Blouse turned out well…. Pretty with dark pants or slim skirt!

Your blouse is lovely. I like the floral stripe and think it suits the style. You could size down, but it's so drappy I think it works. Liked seeing your clever storage systems. Enjoy all the lovely new fabrics. Can't wait to see what you make. Happy sewing.

Hi Lisa, I agree that you could probably go down a size on the Lamont top. You did a wonderful job and the fabric is beautiful. There is a free cardigan pattern from Sinclair Patterns, called the Harper, and many people have raved about that cardigan. It is on my bucket list to make. Itch to Stitch also has a nice cardigan in a shorter version, it could probably be lengthened, Where did you buy your dress form, it looks like a nice one. Love Notions is another pattern company that you might enjoy looking at for some fall patterns, every Friday they put one of there older patterns on sale for $5.00, but the sale is only on a specific pattern and good only for one day.

Thanks, Deborah! Another viewer told me about the Sinclair cardigan earlier today and I've already gone over to their site and downloaded it. I will go back to the Itch to Stitch website and check out their cardigan. My dress form is from The Shop Company. I really like it, though I mostly use it for display. Thanks, Tracy! I've had a couple of viewers suggest that one and I've gotten it downloaded! I recently saw Amelia with Amelia Sews make a pretty blue one. Thanks for watching and happy sewing! 💕

I really enjoyed your video. The "stained glass" fabric is just stunning. I recently made the Sinclair Harper cardigan. It was an easy make & I like the fit. It comes in 4 lengths & it is a free pattern. It was recommended by Kim on Dorothy's Daughter You Tube channel. You might want to take a look at it.

Thanks so much for watching and for the cardigan suggestion. I just went to their website and downloaded the pattern. So awesome that it's free and also has a petite version!! Happy Sewing!

There is a free cardigan pattern that quite a few people have sewn. Andrea from beyond the pink door has made loads. I will try and find the name for you.
