I actually thought it was some weird glitch on RUclips because in the past few days I've been watching lots of Twin Peaks and Octatrack videos, so I thought 2 thumbnails had merged haha
It's amazing that they said that we'll not getting it, but were secretly working on squeezing some extra juice out of that old DSP! And they succeeded, and it's stable. Thanks for watching!
Glad you liked it, I really feel that with this added functionality the OT is really on par with the rest of the Analog Series and will be for the foreseeable future.
...and the best part is that I'm only scratching the surface of what can be done with an integrated setup of all three Elektron machines. The sky is the limit!
I'm going to experiment more with adding a random LFO to arp speed and mode and maybe assigning those to a conditional trig as well. Just imagine the possibilities, you can have a machine basically improv a solo for you :)
Hey! There might be something coming before the end of the year. I’ll record a piece on the op-z and one more modal craft demo when time allows. Unfortunately time constraints limit my output these days.
Merry Christmas 🎄 and hope the New-year brings in more tutorials and the best videos. Thank you for all your hard work to give us the best teachings. 🎄
This was super cool! Could you write written tutorial for this. It would be easier to comeback if i do something wrong. But still this was awesome video 💚
Any chance you could make this public? I've had an octatrack for 3 years, but have only really got the best out of it thanks to your videos. I'm from a bass/drums background and sequencing has been really, well, difficult for me until the tutorials, and your stuff has really helped a lot. There's probably a lot of people like me who would really benefit a lot from this kind of thing. I know the internet doesn't give a lot of thanks, but you've made a big difference to my enjoyment of making music, and I'm sure there are many others out there who'd get a big help from this too.
It's interesting that you should note that, because this is the first video I made with a full script and recorded in separate segments rather than in one multi-cam shot. I was looking to improve my production values, but thought to myself when editing that although the flow is much better now it seems less comprehensive than when I demonstrate things on the fly. I will work on it in the future, in the meantime here's the script: www.dropbox.com/s/32bgk6va0qaquae/Octatrack%20Trig%20Conditions%20-%20Script.pdf?dl=0
I don't actually own an octatrack(just a digitone and the models) but I saw that retraumatizing ass thumbnail of the last scene from The Return so I had to click on the vid
In case you're wondering about that thumbnail: www.elektronauts.com/t/ot-trig-conditions-trc-thread/44828/82 😂

My Octatrack just got way deeper. Great presentation of the new features!

omg... this is HUGE, just now i can understand the huge power of conditional trigs!

You are the man i love your late-night octatrak tutorials. Thank you thank you thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome. Love that arpeggiator.

Thx for the explanation of the trigs, gives me a lot more possibilities to experiment with!
The neighbor function on midi is a game changer: you can build relationships between completely different synths. Thanks for watching!
Thanks HalutioN! That cleared up some questions I had. You are getting near Octratrack legend status for us!!!!
Certainly has a nice ring to it: Octatrack Legend :) Thanks. If you have any more questions, I'd be happy to investigate further.
WE WANT NEW VIDS FROM YOU! WE MISS YOU!

Thanks! The plan is to go back to a regular publishing schedule of two videos per week in 2019. We'll see how this goes...

Nice. Great summary
Thanks! Glad you like it!
Very explanatory video, 100% TRC features covered!
Yeahhhhh! Hmm I was thinking though...can we use them on trigless trigs too?
For real! Damn, I should have mentioned that. I will break down some trigless trigs functionalities in the upcoming Patch of the Week videos.
Good job duder
Thanks!

Yes

I have a written script for this video that I can share with you.

Great video, I think I'l need to come back a few times to totally get it though! perhaps your script would be handy for me also? :)

Damn, first time I managed to clickbait anyone! Good for me, I guess...
