  • Yeah, I probably shouldn't record these so late put I wanted to show an example of a redundant VPN tunnel going to a remote site and the FortiGate SD-WAN picking the best path based off of our Health Checks we did in the previous video.

    About SD-WAN moving the session to a better quality tunnel, Is there a solution for this in 7.2.x or upper version ?

    about SD-WAN moving the session to the "better" quality tunnel, this will not happen until the session itself times out or the link/route is removed. this would change the flag to "dirty" and force the next packet to be re-evaluate and only at that time will the session be moved over to the new link. This does not happen unless the route changes or the session times out. This is what I have observed in my lab using EVE-NG. I am also running 6.2.2. I am not sure if this changed in 6.4 but I would hope it will since this is what SD-WAN is all about, steering traffic mid-session. if you have new info on this behavior please please share.
