Make sure to make use of Chapters, lots of interesting topics there! One thing Neil S brought to our attention: If you equip Water into one of your consumable slots, you can stack it up to 10,000 and be the total God of Water. Poseidon himself wouldn't be able to hold a candle to you.

People purchase things based on what they are looking for. Not only does it work, but it has worked since World of Warcraft and in real life as well. I'm also not the only person doing it. People do not always elect to do the most intelligent thing, because time, effort and opportunity cost all come into play. Plus, travelling across the world in New World (spending Azoth) to buy 5 potatoes / 10 water / 200 fiber is not a worthwhile idea. And that's often time are your customers! People who buy very little of that one thing.
