    Morning sickness really plays with your mind and mental health. Eating and throwing up an entire meal is defeating. I took off two weeks of work because how bad it had got and I’m now I am in my 12th week. Still nauseous and vomiting. Foods high in sodium, fruit, and water have been god sent. And now I have pressure bands that you mentioned in video to help. But shheessh. Great video!!! I am 9 weeks pregnant now and I am so miserable from my morning sickness. The smell of food makes me feel so sick and whenever I eat almost anything I throw it back up. Plus atm me and my man are going through the process of getting a new home to raise the child together and we are living with his great aunt who has no idea that I'm pregnant. In fact nobody in his family knows bc they'll most like judge us and think the worse of everything. My family knows and they're supportive but they're in another state. This is very scary and I'm always sick and I have to pretend like I'm not pregnant to avoid negativity and drama. And we also have to be out by November. I just hope things get better I'm not even due until late April.

    I had hyperemesis in my first two pregnancies and now it occured again in the third. The thing I find the worst is that it's really hard to get a medical prescription of something that would reduce the nausea. I was told to simply "go to the ER" if I get dehydrated but that no meds are available. It's frustrating to know that there are solutions out there, but in Croatia, they simply won't prescribe it to you. :(

      @@kwr44 yea, I know what you mean,this is all I eat as well, bananas + cherries.Now even bread toasted is yacky for me.We need to be very attentive to not get depressed because of this …… Also take some vitamins,it will help.Calcium is very important as well and no one is mentioning anywhere;is more importantly for the breastfeeding.

    I have loat 10 pounds since I found out its been 4 weeks. I feel so unhealthy I can barely eat but im in misery if I eat anything more than a bite and i can barely drink my water. I cant move without feeling nauseated. I feel like my husband was understading at first and now hes barely talking to me. I just lay in bed because i feel so sick

    I am curious has anyone tried Zofran and it helped? Watching this and reading through the comments has given me a lot of faith! I also just try to sleep all the time and pick at anything I can eat without getting more sick. I was so blind sided I had no idea it would be this hard so early on.

      I’m currently on zofran it helps with Nausea but it also makes constipation worse and doesn’t give you a appetite… in my opinion it makes you feel good enough to sleep

    Ice chips, cold salads and ensure nutrition shakes helped me.
    It was easier to sip meals than to eat them. I still hate meat at this point 14 weeks and some smells trigger me. But sucking on a lemon helped prevents me from vomiting especially while out in public

    How much weight loss is fine during first trimester?

    • @PrepDish
      @PrepDish  3 года назад +2

      It is usually a percent and depends on what your weight was prior to getting pregnant. I recommend checking with your doctor to know what is appropriate for you.
