Yours is a smart and interesting channel, with deeper content than most. Glad I found you. Thank you for the motivation you provide in these times where art is (understandably) not a priority for people, and when I am sure many artists are struggling. 👍
Been an artist off and on most my adult life, never a business success, never really saw a path there... this video helps put somethings in perspective... your lead wolf / silverback reference.. artists can fall into many roles in the larger realm, but inside the "artist pack" , one should strive for the lead role, not a commercial lead, but an artist with integrity. I've thought about this, never liked the Alpha, artists should not like the Alpha because they dictate to others...but then we become a Lone Wolf, which probably is an obstacle to success, certainly these days when we need a network.
Cliff DaRiff 👋 Leading could come in many forms, becoming commercially successful, or artistically advanced, or socially influential. The good thing is today we are more tolerant. Arts could take more jobs than painting church murals. There are more opportunities, at least I’d like to think this way :)

I don't think art is nearly as important to society as most artists wish... as a simple guy, I look for simple truths; the art world is now a big business. and influential, weathly, ambitious ppl, want well known art, and the artist within their reach 😉 presumably to further their own ambition, I don't really know...
