Thank you, I am absolutely honored that you signed my apprenticeship book at HC. You are an amazing tattoo artist. That piece looks brilliant. Your presentation is great. 🤟😎
Dude you just blew my mind right now that was a color pallette I would of never thought of using I would of used reds and oranges transitioning into the yellow and that would of broght too much attention to the tarantula likeu said
I am not a tattoo artist but have been wanting to improve my art skills in general, and I appreciate being taken through your creative process with composition and color theory. Grateful you took the time to make this content and share your expertise. I learned a lot.
Always appreciate your videos. I started an apprenticeship in 2004 at a studio that was more old school/biker type owner. I don't have much of an art background. So I've had to learn through books and videos such as this. So thank you for the informative art videos!
That was cool to hear your color theory related thought process. Very cool piece. Right now I’m kinda hit or miss w understanding cool/warm contrast and where it’s the most useful. Experimenting w that a lot like in forms/shadows or background/foreground or kinda segregating parts of the piece w it. You touched on it briefly. Thanks.
This is why I always do several thumbnails with different color palettes in photoshop, Values are more important than color you can use the most random palette in the world and make it look good if your values are spot on. On a side note I suggest practicing with gouache as the colors and blending are similar to tattooing without breaking the bank.
I think it would be really cool to see what you do with that peacock chest piece. You could use that as another color palette video. You used it for a thumbnailing video earlier in the year. I would like to see some more color theory, maybe even different approaches or pallet layouts like triad or different versions of a tetrad pallet.
I'm just here to say. It's just like a tattoo artist to say three minutes....11 minutes later 🤣 love it. Artist life. What time!? Great episode.
😂. Good observation! Thanks.

Damn, that piece turned out beautiful!
You've done the transition very well and a smart perspective on your process on working those transitions
Thanks so much.
Really like how this one came out! Hope to see an updated video of this when it’s finished
I’ll make sure to get some video of it. Thanks.
