Gameplay video of Smuggler's Run: Warzones for Nintendo GameCube. Two missions are shown, missions 4 and 7. Mission 4 is your typical level where you pick up and deliver contraband, while avoiding the cops. Mission 7 is a chase-and-destroy level. this makes me cry. i use to play this all the time as a kid.
Man, this game was the shit back then. The world looked so amazing as well, it was a blast to just explore it and when you had a friend over try to crush each other ^^
This was my favorite GameCube game at one point. I'm glad I found it for $10 at my used game store.
Used to play this game so much with my brother. We would play "chicken" and drive at each other. Usually I had the truck and I'd lay a bomb just before he reached me and I'd jump. Pissed him off the first time and ever since that was my signature move.
Missed chasing him around on the maps and unlocking N America and the hovercraft. One of those games that wasn't super popular but the people who've played it have fond memories. You unlock the hovercraft by finding hidden tokens on each map. I forgot where they were or how many. I think they float on the ground, card shaped bronze or gold objects.
I believe one is in the island volcano in Vietnam. You have to get the atv and smash the speed boost over and over to skim across the water. I've managed to jump across using the truck and it's jump ability though it's harder. Ones in Russia at the "ice lake" during winter. I think it's on the edge by the invisible border. For some reason I'm thinking you need to cross over to that little island when the water is liquid. That might be correct because each token seems hard to get. I think there's one up the waterfall of N America. Maybe there's a video somewhere. Hope I helped!
Oh and it was fun blowing up the little people on here! Or running them over, sitting on them and watching them glitch out and stretch. Kinda weird actually. Thing of nightmares.

Well I was wrong, but right at the same time. I remember those tokens being significant. You unlock N America with them. This link tells you what to do. Also gives info on how to unlock the hovercraft. You have to do at least Great on all missions. They should've had Grand Theft Auto San Andreas on the GameCube instead of just the PS2

Aw this fucking game, used to hire it out at the video shop so much until the guy just gave it to me, so many memories, used to just role play driving around for hours in this, one of the best driving games out I'd have to say even though I ragequitted real fucking hard over it

Didn't know this was on GameCube, always thought it was a ps2 exclusive.
I remember a stage, you could drive through a minefield, and you could end up flying indefinitely if you hit in an unknown way. Happened for me several times.
I used to do this, you picked the car (Dumonde special) and hit a landmine at highspeed in the russia desert map, was so fun to do

Or buy the first Wii model and buy this game because the Wii first model is backwards compatible
I never understood why they didn't liscense the engine of this game. I always imagined what an action-adventure (like zelda or elders scroll) would look like with that potent graphics engine
