🤣🤣🤣...The Land of the Indegenous Songquas people (Khoisan)...Mandela was not the first prisoner in Robeneiland..It was the Khoikhoi or Hottentot leader ..Athuma...called Harry die strandloper...Also the first prisoner escaping from Robeneiland.....
show me a audio video of everything on Robben Island, the housing, the school, the clinic, the hospital, the beach, the roads, the vegetation, the shops, the garage, petrol station, and the prison. Your video in the bus with this guy talking to us like silly stupid people, with the video just focused on him is not on. Then the focus goes on and on about the prison, almost like a guided tour of the birth place of Christ.
Why they always talk about Mandela as if he was the only struggle icon in robben Island! What about Sobukwe what about Makhanda and many other struggle icons
@@travelthroughthelens369 I believe that when you talk about the history of a certain place you must start where it began from the times of Makhanda 1800s (i stand to be corrected) to the times of the dark days of apartheid. Absolutely no one mentions the likes of Sobukwe or Steve biko especially the leaders of the PAC of Azania! Hence I will never visit robben Island, seems like they information is selective and pushing a certain narrative
@@asemahlesirayi7797 they actually talk about them during the tour, it’s just it’s too long I couldn’t record everything. I’ll recommend the visit to the Island.

Quite a valid question. Maybe it’s because of prominence?

It started way back when the Europeans find my Forefathers here...When they find the Songquas meaning the Surpreme Indegenous people...
