- A small aircraft down in Potomac River vicinity Reagan National Airport.
A ground stop and an airport closure are underway at Reagan National Airport due to an "aircraft emergency" Wednesday night, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
D.C. Fire and EMS confirmed that a small aircraft fell in the Potomac River, close to the airport. The details of what occurred are not yet clear.

Update:2 people survived the crash but 54 passengers 4 crew and 2 pilots are confirmed dead this crash is the deadliest crash in dc since 1982 and it is the deadliest plane crash for this decade in USA 😢

May you all show compassion and respect to all mankind even though they may look different and speak different language or come from different part of the world.
