I was an undefeated boxer for many years... until I had my first fight.

That’s what happens in boxing gyms.The trainers say what they think they need to say to push their fighters.Its trash talk to get in to your head.Boxing is mental.If they can get you upset or if your square they will.Its high speed chess in there and it’s eat or get brutally eaten.Sometimes your coach will say work light(respect your opponent) or he’ll say whip his ass

Santiago that’s not a Lomachenko move. It’s called footwork lol. Every boxer learns how to create angles. Some just do it better than others.

Eryk needs to learn how to be unpredictable with his combos, 1- 2 bullshit with a hook every now n then aint gonna work against Haney. Haney is a long and wide fighter with speed and timing so the trick is to get in tight and low in a crouch to eliminate his reach but also to get under his wide hooks. Once your in, if you can make it, its all about the high combinations, hard and fast shots to the body and head and dip the fuck out before he adjusts. Haney moves a lot so you have to be stuck on him like glue. Takes a lot of stamina, endurance and intensity to give problems to a guy like Haney.

Keep hyping him like that and he will get KO soon. No reason to push him. He’s still young and needs to learn more. Put him with a crafty boxer , not bums, but fundamental boxer and he will learn the hard way.

How is he not strong? He was walking his sparring partner down the whole session and has done knockouts in his professional fights.
Magic Boy when did boxing become about walking down your sparring partners and knocking them out. Should be about working on crafty boxing angles and slickness. Also they are moving Haney slow which I love but the boxers he has stopped are soda cans. This kid is ridiculously talented and will be a great boxer for a long time as long as he keeps his head on straight but a power puncher he will not be. Once he fights A side competition he will win most of his fights by scoring points. Something he does well.

Jose Garcia yep go back and look at sparing between Haney and Shakur Even though he was younger he hasn’t gained any fundamentals just power Shakur was toying with him.
@@brianshaffer1648 that was more even but shakur went through olympics and won silver medal, i still think shakur beats him because he is more polished but devin wont lose anytime soon till he faces someone of a great level and you need to be great to beat haney
