Parachinar is the place where Buddhism flourished. Many Buddhist texts were written. The people from all over India, Afghanistan, China were coming to Parachinar to learn. One thing that people forget or overlook - Parachinar is the second most targeted city in Pakistan by terror attacks after Peshawar. The current situation isn’t a sudden clash but the culmination of prolonged state policies since the Afghan War - policies that marginalized, radicalized, and disrupted the region's history and identity. I’m sorry Shehzad but this person comes across as having a particular sectarian bias himself. Contrary to what most of your comments are, I found him to be a bit of a weasel trying to create a narrative for his own personal agendas. It doesn’t seem that He speaks from a place of academic historical or professional neutrality. It’s so easy for someone from a majority sect to fall into their bias and then feed a certain narrative because they are surrounded by a huge echo chamber but takes extraordinary effort to remove yourself from that bias and say what clearly is happening. That’s why I commend you as you yourself belong to a majority sect but have the courage and wisdom to speak out for minorities in pak. What has been happening for decades and what This person is also guilty of imo, is insincerity. He is insincere in his “analysis” on what is more a clear Shia genocide that is taking place is Parachinar & less “sectarianism.” Just hear him at 35:45 when he says “at this stage the only attacks that have taken place in Afg on Shias have been done by IS, not Ta**ban 💩” and then comes across to elude that perhaps it was the Shias who triggered this so called “tit for tat” Bro. speak to Hazaras from Afg and then tell us if Shia killings are being done only by IS and not their terrorist brethren Ta**ban 💩 History: The Afghan Jihad and Radicalization: The U.S backed Afghan jihad against the Soviet Union in the 1980s led to the proliferation of militant groups in the region. Many of these groups adhered to extremist Sunni ideologies, which led to clashes with the Shia population in the Parachinar area who historically are a peaceful ideology and have suffered persecution throughout history by their Sunni brethren in various regions thus been forced to migrate from place to place. 2. Sectarian Divide: The rise of Deobandi militant groups such as Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) intensified attacks on Shias, portraying them as heretics. You can’t be coming on this platform as a “journalist” and then allude to be putting equal blame on Shias for your so called sectarian violence. You need to understand that the massacre of Karbala and the ideology of Imam Hussain(as) is so deeply embedded in Shia upbringing that we are taught to resist and defend against every oppression and tyrant. Be it Umayyads, Abbasids, Saddam, IS, Ta**ban 💩. Wherever innocents are persecuted, Shias will always resist. Optically, Shias should have no reason to support so vehemently the Palestinan cause (particularly since nearly all Sunni Arab states don’t give a 💩 about them, but we do because Imam Hussain (as) taught us to side with the oppressed and not remain quiet as that in itself will constitute acceptance of oppression. You cannot hold someone defending themselves against clear violent terrorists, equally responsible for a conflict if they are simply resisting. That is what the Palestinians are doing backed by Shia state and that is what the brave people of Parachinar are being forced to do if and when they take up arms. So please check your bias and be more professional and call it a genocide instead of words like tit for tat or sectarian violence. Major Incidents 1. 2007 Siege: One of the most significant events was the siege of Parachinar in 2007 by Sunni militant groups. This led to blockades, mass killings, and immense suffering for the local Shia population, as they were cut off from essential supplies and medical aid. 2. Terrorist Attacks: In subsequent years, numerous bombings, suicide attacks, and ambushes targeted Shia gatherings, markets, and places of worship. Some of the deadliest attacks include: • 2012: A market bombing killed dozens of Shia civilians. • 2017: Twin bombings in Parachinar during Ramzan claimed over 70 lives. 3. Blockades and Economic Strangulation: Militants imposed blockades, cutting Parachinar off from the rest of Pakistan. This economic strangulation further isolated the Shia population. So as you can see this is a Sunni issue that the people of the majority Sunni sect need to address and speak out against. 40 Sal se yehi sun rahay hain jo ye Banda keh raha hai k Shias and Sunnis are both responsible. Please enough of this and be real and accept responsibility of your community’s actions.
*Pakistan, writ of the state, does not even cover Full Punjab, all other regions are heavily alienated & have Conflict & grievances* *Pak Army is known for Historical Blunders.......Soon we will see Isolated Punjabistan, which is defacto Pakistan* 😆😆😆
A journalist, Kamran Yousaf, has reported that Taliban r fighting with rebels against Assad backed army. Is it true? Can taliban bring sectarian tension between Iran & Afghanistan?
You have termed the state's response as brutal. In a recent podcast you had said while addressing PTI supporters that in the present age you can't hide dead bodies. Please take into consideration that those who had come to your capital were no peaceful and law abiding citizens exercising their constitutional right to peaceful protest. They had the provincial government resources of KP at their disposal. They had come armed with tear gas canisters, catapults with marbles, and huge fans to blow back the tear gas fired by Islamabad and Punjab police forces back on them. They were so strong that the police forces opposing them had to retreat gradually, and they kept advancing inexorably. Now the question is: how do you tackle a mob that is strong, not heeding your warnings and not playing by the rules? Sometimes, you have to be tough to handle such situation. State bashing has become one of the most visible forms of modern woke virtue signalling. I have heard some intellectuals say that the state has no right to use force against its citizens. I think that this is carrying wokeness to a ridiculous extreme. Just as a state should be just, impartial and a mother to all citizens, the citizens also have some duties to the state. They must be loyal to it, they must obey all laws an place, not commit crimes and not disturb the law and order situation in the country. When they do, the state has the right to stop such citizens, if necessary, by force. And the use of force needs to be appropriate to the threat posed by rogue citizens and must not be excessive. But the state does have the right to use force to maintain law and order. I don't think it is fair to accuse the response as excessively brutal. In order to be effective any response has to be in proportion to the threat. It would be wrong to condemn the action.
Sorry very disappointed from this podcast.. If the gentlemen invited is not sure then how can you invite him to talk on situation. His unsure thoughts will make a psedo narrative by everyone.. So please never invite anyone who is not sure or he does not share credible proof on any incident... Failed....
Shehzad, if the people who are assaulting your capital under the present day incarnation of Mehmood Ghaznavi, Ali Ameen Gandapur, are mainly from one ethnicity, should Islamabad Police still be woke and abide by 'diversity, inclusion and equity' and pick up equal numbers from all ethnicities so as not to be accused of committing racial profiling? Yes, indiscriminate arrests should be condemned but if the majority of those who carried out the assault on Islamabad belonged to one ethnicity, the majority of the arrests would be from the same ethnicity.
Isn't your comment a deep rooted hatred against a community itself. What it has to do with Mehmood Ghaznavi and Ali Amin Gandapur (as i am not fan of both) calling them out because of your own rotten ethnic lense. I will not look and bash someone coming from Ranjeet Singh tree of ancestry because i have political or ideological differences. World has changed so we should, grow up bro.
@justasimplehuman2099 Thank you very much for reading my comment and taking the time to respond. I hold Pashtoons in high esteem. There is no question of hatred towards them. I had likened Ali Amin Gandaput to Mehmood Ghaznavi because he does so himself regularly. He refers to his assaults at the capital of Pakistan made with the resources of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa which were meant to be used in the province in the service of the people of KP, irrespective of their political affiliations, but were misused grossly for the political aims of one political party; as the raids made by Mehmood Ghaznavi. Criticism of the Chief Minister of KP and the gross misuse of the resources of the province does not mean hatred of Pashtoons. If anyone has shown hatred/contempt it is you who have referred to Punjabis as belonging to the lineage of Ranjeet Singh. Isn't it like the pot calling the kettle black?
If you truly care, you should focus on making daily videos or tweeting about government spokespersons engaging in racial profiling during press conferences. But instead, you seem too preoccupied with targeting PTI.
Then you claim you’re not a member of the cult. The podcast begins with discussion of racial profiling, you probably didn’t even listen and started angrily commenting. You don’t care about people dying, you only don’t like your delusions challenged. Stop attacking anyone who doesn’t worship Imran khan like you. Itni podcasts sunay Kay baadh bhi dimaagh nahee khula? Shocking
@@ThePakistanExperience deeply worried about muzzamil and I am watching your video about him right now. I am also worried for you, please take care. Love from India.
What a bias and one-sided take. The zainabiyoun was not formed in Pakistan it was actually comprised of pakistanis who were living in Iran. There was NO active recruitment from Parachinar. The guy white washes the hate against shia, who r minority. Shias never instigated the violence. Sipah Muhammad was formed in reaction to shia persecution at the hands of Zia's henchmen. Get someone who actually knows something.
Why is parachinar the only place in tribal areas where military didn’t launched any operation in 20 years despite the fact that there are banned outfits like zanibiyun and they burnt many sunnis villages
Although I disagree but let's believe in your argument. In absence of banned sunni outfits yoh guys play with the heads of Shias. This is the level of inhumanity in you guys. Imagine the jahalat in the banned outfits? Yeh haiwaniyat kahan sy latay ho bhai? Zainabiyun is actually a military defence force to defend the Roza of Bibi Zainab AS from haramzadi Daesh, again a sunni organisation. You guys have a PhD in terrorism.

Major Incidents
1. 2007 Siege: One of the most significant events was the siege of Parachinar in 2007 by Sunni militant groups.
Some of the deadliest attacks include:
• 2012: A market bombing killed dozens of Shia civilians.
Shehzad is completely dumb on the subject
That's why he invited someone with knowledge to learn.
There's nothing bad in learning.
How is my dear Muzammil darling... 😢
*Pakistan, writ of the state, does not even cover Full Punjab, all other regions are heavily alienated & have Conflict & grievances*
*Pak Army is known for Historical Blunders.......Soon we will see Isolated Punjabistan, which is defacto Pakistan* 😆😆😆

Failed....
Can a native verify the correct pronunciation of Parachinar? Is it with a ڑ sound like the guest is pronouncing just as Khar Qamar is actually خڑ کمر?
Iftikhar’s pronunciation has to be better than mine. I’d go with his
Shehzad, if the people who are assaulting your capital under the present day incarnation of Mehmood Ghaznavi, Ali Ameen Gandapur, are mainly from one ethnicity, should Islamabad Police still be woke and abide by 'diversity, inclusion and equity' and pick up equal numbers from all ethnicities so as not to be accused of committing racial profiling?
@justasimplehuman2099
Thank you very much for reading my comment and taking the time to respond.
Bhai you guys should vote for MODI and BJP if you want development in Pakistan.
FA pass lumber one is totally inept, incompetent and complicit in this mess.
Shocking
amazing video. btw the speaker sounds like musharaff :D

@@ThePakistanExperience deeply worried about muzzamil and I am watching your video about him right now.
I am also worried for you, please take care.
Love from India.
Pakistan bilkul poor nahe hy.
Any idea Pakistan ne sirf proxy wars se kitny $$$$ banaye...😅
What a bias and one-sided take. The zainabiyoun was not formed in Pakistan it was actually comprised of pakistanis who were living in Iran. There was NO active recruitment from Parachinar. The guy white washes the hate against shia, who r minority. Shias never instigated the violence. Sipah Muhammad was formed in reaction to shia persecution at the hands of Zia's henchmen.
Get someone who actually knows something.
All world is foked so what 😂
Why is parachinar the only place in tribal areas where military didn’t launched any operation in 20 years despite the fact that there are banned outfits like zanibiyun and they burnt many sunnis villages
