I found myself wondering more about how they got the great drum sounds. Especially the tom fills that seemed to come from the top of your head and fall down to each ear when wearing headphones. Incredible.
IR loader would be an interesting addition to this awesome plugin. Most amp sims and serious modelers already have it, i was actually surprised there wasn’t one supplied with amp room.
Hi Mike! David at Softube here. I heard from a colleague of mine here in support that you also submitted a support ticket a while back about this and that the issue was fixed? :) You're always welcome to contact us again if you have any further thoughts or questions! Best regards, David at Softube
Hey, if you haven't already, please contact our support team. I'm sure they can help :) You can email them directly support@softube.com // Sara at Softube
Did you manage to open it, I have the amp room installed and all the amps on my computer, but I don't know where to click to open it. What do I have to do?
I wanted to demo it exp. Vintage suits. But it didn’t show up inside DAW. And date expired. I interesting but i could not even try it and i dont understand anything. Then i install engl. Same again
Hi! One thing to note is that the Suites will still be called Amp Room inside your DAW, and you must also install both the Suite product and the Amp Room plug-in in Softube Central to get it to work :) If you're still interested in trying these plug-ins out, please reach out to us at support@softube.com and we'll set you up with a new demo license :) Best regards, David at Softube
@SoftubeStudios Yeah i know. It is not about it. There are something wrong. I took a risk and ordered Bass Suite. When i paid for it, it worked. But in demo mode, no. It did not show up inside DAW. I've checked it in Plugin Manager. It is not about name confusing thing. I think if you do not pay Amp Room plugin doesn't show up in Softube App. The problem must be this. I saw it for the first time after i purcashed Bass Suite. In other Suites i missed my Trial because of this. I'm on Mac OS Ventura and last version of Logic Pro. I have a lot of plugin from Softube. This only happens on Amp Room. Thank you.
If you're looking for the pro audio guitar solutions buy a Kemper. Or a Quad Cortex. :) I thought we litigated this issue and IR is the only way to go here? I guess software guys didn't quite get the memo? Modeling just can't capture the complexity of a tube amp. Softube, could we have an IR solution in software please? With the new M1 silicon are we finally at a point where latency could be reigned in?
@@bonchbonch Yeah perhaps but it doesn't change the fact that modeling just isn't there yet. Have you listened to the modeled software vs something like IR approaches and then compared to real tube amps? It isn't exactly close. Modeling is acceptable I suppose but fire up any tube amp and you'll see that modeling doesn't quite capture all the way what a tube amp does. Whether it'll get there or not is up in the air but the cold hard truth right now is it's not quite there. IR is pretty close though. I presume Softube don't want to go down the IR path because they can't solve the latency problem in software. But the M1 is fast. Fastest single core CPU we've had and by a lot so maybe that's something to explore.

@@bonchbonch And equally with all due respect you have no idea how much experience I have nor what kind of environment I work in etc. How would you go about convincing someone on a public forum of, well anything? Without any access to tools or referents. You can't. And even if you could make references it would still come back to the constraints of having to be in the same space and under the same variables. And even then, there is the subjectivity of experience etc etc. For me it's a fact because I've heard the two in my environment. Great work again!

It sounds really authentic and raw compared to any other amp software I have.

Yes!!
Marshal mods will be mind blowing
We added an IR loader in November last year. 🤗
@@stefanaronsson You guys are amazing !
I download the demo and it doesnt seem to have all of the stuff you have? The "Custom Bass Amp Room 100w" amp is not there...

Your opinions about software modeling are straight out of the 2000s.
