Awesome stuff! I have the menards fire hall and I love it! I did use a buck converter to use it with my accessory transformer.
Another great video awesome to see a company keeping more budget friendly modelers in mind wish a company could do something similar in the ho scale world
Thanks!! Menards does offer an HO line as well. I haven’t really looked through it though. Believe it is a lot of the same buildings.

Pretty sure Woodland Scenics make the structures for Menards, they're just cheaper as they get a bulk order deal.
That said, think your layout looks great, doesn't have to be hand-sculpted hi-rail to be good.
Love Menard’s buildings as well, have a fair amount of them myself. I’ll also vouch for their quality and value. I’m not sure where you bought your York Hotel, but I paid 100$ for mine at the Menard’s by my house.

Hey Dave, it is woodland scenics grass mat. I use carpet tacks to tack it to the table. Comes in rolls. Thank you for watching!

Just got the Menards Police Station, Menards Fire Station #9 and the Starbucks Coffee Shop. The police station is working correctly (although one of the officers already collapsed, I can fix that with a dab of glue). But the trucks aren't moving on the Fire Station and the Starbucks Coffee Shop doesn't illuminate at all. Has anyone attempted troubleshooting these? Or should I ship back to Menards for a replacement?

Lots of neat buildings! I have the American Materials building and the build board, and I’ve had no major issues. The American materials building does have that Buzz, but with trains going around you hardly notice it.

Just received my American Materials building today. Unfortunately both sides of the building were broken off. I had to glue them on. 😢

Thanks for another great video. Been eyeing some of the buildings, but haven't committed yet. I did buy a two of their bridges a few years ago, and although they look great they're made of a light pressed wood and easily damaged.

I only got back into trains halfway through the pandemic around November. I'm building myself a nice city I did get the Menards Farm that thing is a work of art. And I'm thinking about upgrading my church with the new church they just came out with and I'm getting the Red Owl Supermarket which I'm going to change around to a local business it's no longer here

Thanks for the review .I have a lot of mth buildings on my layout but Menards in my opinion is a lot better for the money,I hope to get some menards buildings soon they are a lot easier to wire up their wiring system is great.Thanks again Zack your videos are the best.your more down to earth like most people in the hobby.Thanks for all you do.

Menards buildings are great but it is unfortunate for me that they do not have any stores or ship them to where I live.
Sorry you cannot get them shipped to you. We don’t have a store locally, and have to get them shipped here. Maybe try using a third party that sells them? Might be a little more expensive though.
@@CountryBunkersTrains I have a local train store that sells Menards buildings but the store sells them at a mark up and I am not willing to pay extra cash for them.
A lot of people are hip to the Menards stuff now. The last couple times I picked up my ship-to -store order, the employee said that at least one order comes in every day they is train related. That’s a great thing for the hobby!

Excellent commentary. I agree that I enjoy the trains more than the scenery but Menards and MTH make the additions easy. Keep it going.
The Menard structures are fine models. I’ve seen them when I visited my cousins in Shelbyville Indiana.

I am getting ready to order the Cripple Creek Engine House and the Red Barn. After seeing your track sign, I think I’m going to add that to. Again, thanks for another great video. The only thing that keeps me from buying Menard's buildings is their lighting color! I hate the 6000K color! It's not correct if you are doing 40s - 60s era genre on the layout. I wish they made the color in 2700K, or at least selectable with a switch. That hotel would look awesome. and correct, in warm white, like the Woodland buildings.
