I’m doing softball soon ..... and I’m scared bc I’m going from 4 years of GYMNASTICS at a highly competitive level to trying softball and I feel like it’s really different from what I’m used to so idk 🤷🏼♀️
This is the best baseball drill i have seen yet including all those by major leaguers. she is teaching fundamental fielding something most major leaguers are too lazy to execute. when you see a big leaguer muff a grounder it is probably because they never learned to do what this lady is teaching.
Gonna use this for my 3/4 graders.
the named the net
If they miss the ball, make them run to the outfield fence. The will get tired of running and dive for the ball.
Not really productive to run to outfield fence. Just repeating the drill until it's 100% no errors will accomplish the same thing.
Some of the throws was bad.
I don't believe in punishing players if they missed the ball. I used to play in the Minors and what I see when coaches make them run as punishment when they miss the ball or lose a game is crap. Instead what you do is make them repeat the same drill 100 times lol
@@herbcordle9426 I agree, I didn't read your comment until I added mine. You are right. It's what we did when I played. I dont think you are a good coach when you punish your players running to the fence. What would that teach them, to get tired unproductively?
Exactly
What's the distance between them cones?
If you're in IS51, respond to this comment
