You create such a beautiful painting!
just saw this page for the first time...better late than never:-). thanks for all the nice comments, everyone!
can you reccomemd a 2 inch brush that tapers at the end like you said you use
you can use craft brushes. the type i have used for years are loew cornell 1809, a bit smaller in size (12 to a pack) or the 3 pak (1", 2", 3") get the synthetic, not the natural bristle
thanks!
I’ve always wanted to start expressive art but never knew how, this helped a lot !!

Extremely Beautiful!!!
I love your bold, bright colors and your painterly style, which is not easy to achieve in acrylics, Patti. Keep up the good work.

Love love love it. Inspiring!
I love the strong brushwork.
your demo is clear and to the point
......absolutely love this style........very nice work. Thanks....
It is a very engaging painting style Patti, lots of brush marks visible and strong compliments. A clever composition and I like the earthy tones in the fields, really makes it come alive. It feels raw and rustic.
simplicity is beauty. I love the colours and painting style used here.
love this painting
Your painting is so clean. The colors are so nice. I'm glad I found you on utube
Brilliant, thank you.
Just found you today. Throughly enjoyed your video. Beautiful outcome.
Thank you for this. I have been painting for several years and wondered why my landscapes don't quite "sing." I think it is because I've been painting the earth and sky first (as my way of establishing the horizon) and then adding the focal point - more or less building the scene the way it could have developed in life. Here you have demonstrated the opposite: focal point first, with background and foreground added to support the focal point. It may be more difficult but it is so much more rewarding and fun!
Excellent Demonstration. So much I have to learn about interpreting a natural view to create a beautiful painting as you have here. Thank you for the inspiration.
LOVE this!
This seems a little like an impressionist painting; I guess, that's what you're conveying. I don't know: I'm new at painting and I guess that I'm just not used to something like this but it does look fun to not have to be careful of what the painting actually looks like. It still follows all the rules of color. Good lesson for conveying warm and cool colors and different shades of greens. Thanks for sharing.
Enjoyed watching your process and interpretation. Wished you’d have had your reference photo shown while you painted. Thanks for sharing.
I love your style of painting. Beautiful work!

Beautiful and creative! I have been trying to branch out and paint different subjects, buildings and landscapes are part of that, since I normally do horses and flowers. 😊I love your style and have one of your books. Thank you for sharing your techniques!

@Eliseo Emery glad I could help :D
so cool.
what a beautiful painting damn
Love actually seeing this stroke by stroke....so helpful. Wish the camera would have focused.....it is blurry. Your book is great, Patti.
Fabulous teacher...thx
Fauvism ! ? love it.
Clearly done. Thank you
Nice!
Probably the best of what I've seen you do, although I think you fussed a little too much at the end. One of the reasons I think this piece is successful is because you worked quickly with a composition that has a vast perspective. Keep up the good work.
Your acrylic is beautifully creamy?
many thanks to you
Would you consider showing your palette and do you change brushes with each colour? Did you leave the wires out just because ie: artistic license?
GREAT . GREAT . GREAT . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. ... . .
I really like how to use slides to get all the materials ready for a student to try and replicate the same painting along with you. Great use of color interpretation in the painting to stand out from realism style. I look forward to your next video. Hope all is well and if you have a chance to check my demos I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Beautiful color. Showing the photograph would be of essential help.
Could you show us Poppies? Thanks
Hi! May I please recreate this painting? Is there any copyright issue?
Excellent techniques, you are living Vincent Van Gogh , want follow your way of painting, thanks
sei davero brava
👌💕
How do I study to pass the artistic liscense test?
I'd like to see your pallet, sometime.. especially when you're using a 2" brush. TY
This painting reminds me of a patchwork quilt..
was it not easier to paint the horizon first?
who knows :-)
I know it's easier than going back and patching the horizon between the tree branches and houses and trees hahaha
Mike A it may be easier but the look is different. i dont mind cutting in around the trees snd houses, it gives them nice edges
Merci 😊
diebenkorn much ?
Please get a new camera with minimum 1080p. This footage is terribly blurry.
