I have this amplifier, let me say firstly it is as ugly as sin . Get past that and you have a fantastic bit of kit, the sound quality is exceptional, bass, mids, treble are just on point, add to that a very well implemented dac and streamer . Plus lots of goodies. I know some folk who have sold this amp and regretted it . For me it's a keeper.. ( why look at the mantle piece when you're poking the fire)
Nice! I think arcam have done a great job improving the appearance with the new range, it was definitely needed coming of the SA range. I quite liked the sound of this amp, it does have a sound though. I sold it in the end as the firmware for the streamer was giving me all kinds of issues and i wanted a sound that was a bit more expressive.
@@russellparker4568 The best amplifier for the money and fabulous sound is the Astin Trew AT2-2100 this amp has flown under the radar it's awesome, and selling for just over 1k .. Transistor based if you like tube sound with plenty of power, it's a no brainer .
If you want an all in one and can live with the looks its quite good. All the included features make it excellent value but beware it’s got network connectivity issues with google home and a other buggy things like volume suddenly going up or down for no reason, this happened even after the latest firmware update when I owned it. In fact theres a arcam sa30 owners group forum online which has members posting issues on a weekly basis last time i checked. Luckily the sound is really good, not the most exciting or expressive amp but still decent, power for days and nice at low volume. The chap above mentioned that many people regret selling the SA30, I don’t regret it at all. My current exposure pre power trounces it and has no silly issues. All in ones are tidy but I really like being able to tweak the sound to my liking with cables and separates. I’ve also learned I’m not one for digital displays and the like, I’d almost always turn it off.
Ahh I didn’t know the SA30 had issues. I’m also not a big fan of like all in one either. The new A35 when it’s release later this year is like $3500 though but it looks so nice.
The only thing wrong with this video is that it was too short. That system sounds really good. I could have listened for much longer. Thanks for this.
Thanks! Yeah way too short sorry about that. I liked those speakers, wish i hadn’t sold them now.
Nice presentation and set-up 🍺 👍.... !
i love the sound defusers. and obviously the sound
Dopo avere visto decine e decine di impianti hi fi penso che il 90% degli italiani siano tutti milionari.
Hello, great set up! What is the name of those bass traps?
Hi, thanks! They are custom made tuned to 80hz with a scatter panel on top.
