Whenever I have an issue with a product I contact the manufacturer, not the retailer.
this is a great approach. often being the first retail contact for people its counterintuitive to go to the manufacture first but i wish more people did

Wow, the credit card companies are the real crooks! I agree returns are shady. Lots of figures are swapped at Walmart. Toys R Us has implemented no returns on collectible figures.

I am a regular customer ( I have a LOT of GI Classified I have ordered that were successfully delivered, and a lot of GI Joe and Action Force on preorder, ALL PAID FOR. I love Toysnowman. )
When I pay for something, even if I have buyer's regrets, I just think twice in the future, but after hearing your reality, I want to thank you for the education.

I think a lot of people would not know as E-commerce is still new and a lot of things are still being learned before the collective human conscious knows Ecommerce decorum.
the store credit thing makes lots of sense and I didn't realize about cancelations. never canceled anything but I try not to preorder to much

It is becoming to be harder to everyone for getting what they deserve nowadays from the buyers, sellers, and distributors.
which is why I think keeping things out in the open to talk is best for us all
Definitely sucks on cancels. Appreciate you for great business model unlike OUTRUN COLLECTIBLE chris and his unlawful preorders. His store/online is now bankrupt and everybody is out of luck on getting any sort of items or money back. A huge problem and will have collectors scale back on payment in advance for preorders. Want thank you for coming thru my preorders and providing legit services. Respect and appreciate you 🙏
Have you tried an alternative for preorder - charge up front, but with a discount? That motivated me to buy from certain stores and prevents me from cancelling that particular order
We already offer discounts with a rewards program. Not sure adding another discount on a low margin product is goanna work out for us sadly.

The respect goes both ways. I don't want to cancel orders but if it's not the best or even competitive price I can't afford not to cancel if there's a better price. Or twice I've ordered an entire wave of super7 ultimates and been shorted 1 figure so I have to order backups cause that trust is broken. Or if the free shipping threshold drops I'm going to reshuffle my orders.
of course your vendor should be reliable and if they cancel on you then I see it as fair. We don't over sell our allocation and so we don't have to cancel orders.

I've yet to cancel an order I regretted making. But have wondered, say you preorder something, would it be possible to cancel a preorder and turn it into store credit or be put towards another preorder of equal or higher value without a processing fee? I would guess not, but would be nice.
That is exactly what we do. We say one way around it is store credit. Since no processing fees are taken

What about when we pre order items from you and have been waiting 0ver 14 months for the item , when you can buy the item everywhere else ,you get no communication from you ,I've contacted you this week and still no reply ..

I am not aware if any items we have that 14 month delay that is available everywhere. If there is feel free to e mail and we will send a full refund. If you sent an e mail someone from customer service will get back to you.
