Can't find a link to Part 1. That's ok, I'll just search for it. Would be nice to have an info link in the video or even in the description though, next time. Keep up the good work!
So awesome. Im sooo jealous of you guys. I wish I could be a part of something like this. Id like to live on a farm and learn about sustainable farming with my entire family. During covid everything stops, but Farming and life on the farm will always continue. This is the way GOD meant us to live from the BEGINNING anyway, not to become trapped in the RAT RACE. Investing your money into self sustainable farming is the WAY to go. Saving ur money in the bank is futile. Keep going guys and pray for folk like us that envy you guys!
Amazing property but the camera pans too fast sometimes to get the details of the plants. Greetings from Canada ( I wish , I could grow some of that here, LOL!)
Amazing work!!!! I want to do similar things, with self sustainability and overproduction, in Oklahoma. I have the knowledge to do this but lack the resources. Can anyone provide helpful organizations, links, contacts etc..?
We actually still get fairly good banana production in a northern climate. This farm featured pays his farm staff off banana production and pups alone…
We just rent and the landlord lets me dig! Went from 1 bed 5 years ago, to 15, now 11 next year. 😆 had to reduce some beds this year to open up the backyard more. But the new beds are HUGE and I pretty much still have 15 beds. 😆 Its mainly flowers for the pollinators, but we grow food each year.
niller penton the fruiting varieties are dwarf orinoco and Raja puri. I would also highly suggest Dwarf Namwa, they weren't available for this install.
Awesome farm congrats great loving place and family
This is just so impressive. They are living the dream!
Wow amazing property! Rather go here than Disney World ! 🤙

another awesome property especially the tiki hut that's bomb
wallamangaveer it is epic! They natives call these ' chickee ' huts.
Who was hired to build the Chickee Hut? He mentioned they came from South Florida and did everything by hand. Thank you.
That hut is tight. This whole property is sick this is exactly what’s needed. I wonder if the weather in North Carolina could do this?
@@JudgeDredd_ 9a is pushing it with tropicals
BetterYouBetterWorld V yeah figured it would probably be a little too crisp for it
So awesome!!! Love your videos!
Oldesouth Farm love having your support!

@Morgan Hope where is it ?
Pete,
What is the material and purpose of the cordage wrapped around the dragonfruit posts? Around 7:50 on this video.
forget the name, heshen sacks? theseres another name I usually use, dragon fruit grows on trees so its a mock tree trunk
Brad Bergemann its natural rope and is used to help the dragon fruit attach themselves to the poles.
Pete Kanaris GreenDreamsFL thanks! Keep up the great work
Awesome
You need some frost hardy coconuts. Ive seen them in south Brazil florianopolis. Producing fruit.
amazing
Killing the game Pete!
Anton Nicola thank you! We don't play 💪
Amazing property but the camera pans too fast sometimes to get the details of the plants. Greetings from Canada ( I wish , I could grow some of that here, LOL!)
Thanks!
lot work. keep up
Wow! This is one of the most perfect videos I could have found! thank you!! :)
Melissa
Information on your spiritual space please! We just purchased acreage in Okeechobee county, and I would LOVE to have one built!
What kind of coconuts trees, Pete?
Hulagu Kahn the one by the Chickee are spicata coconut. We also planted Fiji and Maypan.
Bradenton is south of Tampa, not north.
This is really amazing. I use to live in the Bradenton/Sarasota area, and there was nothing like this then.
All that I can say is...............WOW
2.67 Acre Homestead serious right?!?
America got talent
Love it
They must have hit the lottery or received an inheritance or gotten. A bad ass grant....
Or he’s an entrepreneur....
what did you say 4:28 - 4:30 ?
Life Of Machond the strawberry tree, muntingia calabura?
LAND!
Any LAND, amazing things can come of it and Permaculture leads the way.
There are NO EXCUSES!
I saw some fleabane going to seed, isnt that going to cause some probs or is it being used for chop and drop?
I would like to see part 1 of this video. I can not find it anywhere. Please help. Thank you
lynn howdeshell here is the link .

Those sweet chickens!!
NIce...but any regrets about the sugar cane and wedelia?
Nope! They have a torpedo grass issue though
How do you guys get all these trees and plants (they are absurdly expensive to get just a single one of any of those plants here at a nursery).
SkyGaming max when you order in quantity the cost drops dramatically.
Do you have to wory about hurricanes there?
Not really. They are common here in Florida. Everything grows back after a hurricane.
Amazing work!!!! I want to do similar things, with self sustainability and overproduction, in Oklahoma. I have the knowledge to do this but lack the resources. Can anyone provide helpful organizations, links, contacts etc..?
Hey pete can you say bush for me. "That's easy, buuush" lol
Can u give me address of that farm ? so i can visit.
This really woke me up ….bananas may not work during our colder months but maybe worth trying on higher contour levels
We actually still get fairly good banana production in a northern climate. This farm featured pays his farm staff off banana production and pups alone…
As an Australian I'm interested what eucalyptus you were growing ?
Wow, we have 3 acres i want it to be like this 😍
We just rent and the landlord lets me dig!
Went from 1 bed 5 years ago, to 15, now 11 next year. 😆 had to reduce some beds this year to open up the backyard more. But the new beds are HUGE and I pretty much still have 15 beds. 😆
Its mainly flowers for the pollinators, but we grow food each year.
I love it!
Why Florida, though?
It's one hurricane away from being a total swamp...
Fl has a multi-billion dollar AG industry
Most grows right back with a little bit of work.
I would screen off one section of that solar structure to house chickens.
How did your property survive the past couple hurricanes?
Julie Chlarson hurricanes fine. The cold got my farm pretty good, Jubilee was fine.
Awesome farm well done.
Can you send me info for the Native Americans Hut Builders?
Sea Sales sure. I'm waiting on the contact info.
do you sell Cecropia I can't find anybody selling in Florida?
fruitscapes on pine island has it www.fruitscapesllc.com/fruitCECROPIA.html
Adventurous mtbiker no we had to special order these from homestead. They are typically air layered.
Am I able to get the number? I'm very interested in getting one and I live here in Florida.
what type of banana is that ? nice and short
Where are you?
Palma Sola Florida.
what varieties of banana is this?? is small , is perfect for my house......can you tell me pete?????
niller penton the fruiting varieties are dwarf orinoco and Raja puri. I would also highly suggest Dwarf Namwa, they weren't available for this install.
thanks .......i change my backyard whith your videos......now everything is better for me.......
MMMMM I LOVE MALANGA TARO ROOT (YAUTIA)
So good!
I would be terrified of having 10 year old mango trees in brandeton fl. Buddy, if one freeze rolls in, mango trees will die. Nice farm though.
They are in a pretty sweet micro-climate
Hi Pete,
What state is this property located? Looks like there's a lot of rain here.
VJodie ! Florida :)
It’s in Florida
Can you grow mango
Yes! We just planted 1800 mangoes 26 varieties at his other farm around the corner.
VERY NICE BUT IM A TOMATO GROWING GUY ,NOT TREES
ROBERT BROWN You should look up alley cropping. Multiple crops, reduced irrigation... Polyculture has a lot of benefits.
Poor pig, and in such a small enclosure 😞
Don't care for the wedelia .. too many edible native groundcovers we can do
So he's rich and letting the tax payers pay for his solar? Nice!
Sorry I couldn't help myself.
Amazing
