I think we cannot say that alfa can be anything. It cannot be 180 degrees for example.
Why are we not using the Pythagorean Theorem to calculate r?I would think: a^2+b^2 = r^2therefore;r= +/-(a^2+b^2 )^(1/2)thanks for the videos.
+6thHorseMan The Pythahorean theorem only applies when the angle between a and b is 90 degrees, and this is not necessarily the case.
