In this video, I decided to jump into the Engine Rebuild process of this project. This part 1 of the tear down and the over all rebuild process. This series will be a three or four part series before I jump back into the body shaping.
In no way is this a how-to or a tutorial video. This is my first time doing a full engine rebuild. I am learning a lot! I am in fact learning more than I can possibly retain at the moment. I am learning what to do and as well what NOT to do when opening up Ann engine and more specifically an engine that has more than likely not been opened for more than 40 years. Wild to think, but it's believable by how sealed everything is. The top end looked very clean, the pistons sections, however looked very grimy as you could see in this episode.
I am really enjoying working on this custom build of this 1981 Honda CB 750C project. Initially when I saw this bike, I had in mind to build a custom scrambler style bike, but it's take a bit of a twist with having Jake on the project.
