IMF has replied that they only deal with Govts and not anybody else. India is a Board member in IMF and can suggest restrictions based on economic merit and will be taken into account.

India contributes funds to IMF, and it has full right to ask IMF for following the correct procedures prior approving the funds to any nation. India is not stopping Pakistan's borrowing of the loan but only requesting to follow the procedures.

Economic reforms in India were carried out by PV Narsimha Rao and not MMS. He was simply a facade as expert on economy (as Finance minister) behind which PVNR changed license raj and opened up economy.
MMS was basically not a leader but a second man who obediently carried out instructions of boss (PVNR) because PVNR took the decision and responsibility.

It is fallacious to credit Dr. Manmohan Singh with economy reforms in 1992-1993. Fact is that, Dr. Manmohan Singh was in planning commission for almost 25 years before he brought reforms. So it is safe to assume that the economic policies that he formulated as a influential member of Planning commission were responsible for India's "on-the-brink-of collapse-economy" situation in early 90s. It was the IMF which forced the reforms down the throat of Dr. Manmohan Singh, who had no other go but to implement it, for his own political and job survival.
In 2014 Bharat discontinued old pension scheme instead brought new scheme NPS. I.e New pension scheme. Under NPS central Govt contribute 14% and 10 % by Employee. The total contribution is invested in the market.
It is not 2014, but it’s mandatory for Government servants from 1st January 2004.

Cheema saheb, India me National Pension Scheme 2004 se lagu hai. Purana pension scheme band kar diya gaya hai. Kewal kuchh states me abhi bhi lagu hai.
Root cause is that maximum population is oriented on Gazwa, and Gonimoteer maal concept from early childhood. Gazwa ,gonimot based economy is now a days almost impossible but maximum population has been oriented on it. Immediate result is inability to earn as per orientation and rushing to borrowing and begging without focussing on any other method of growth.
Mr.Cheema, America and China both these countries are seeing that you don't come out of debt trap. As long as Pakistan is in debt trap, these countries can arm twist it for their own benefits. According to fare assessments Pakistan will be in debt trap for another 50 years, even if they start reforms today itself.

As per today Pakistan debts Rs. 62.88 trillion Pak rupees and $233 billions. With improper infra, no high skilled human resources. And $198 million FDI in 2023. With $340 billions
India debts $635 billions, $35 billion, With GDP 4. Trillion. With huge infra progress, best eco system for manufacturing, service oriented sectors, and Finance and banking sector strong with huge population. These debts is not high at all with 8% progress. Means it will be within control for next 10 years also. Means good returns about to have.
I don't see, Pakistan able cope next 20 years atleast, it will need to fight for finance every year for next 20 years.

Its because of a school of thought that since Pakistan is a nuclear power the world cannot afford it to see it fail. Hence the impression that world will take care of its economic mess and chaos.

Pakistan needs IMF money to pay salary & pension to every govt employee which includes defence personnel. Pakistan can't defend its countries without IMF support. No dollars means no import of defence equipment also for operation and maintenance. To assemble anything you also need dollar to import machine parts & raw material. In short IMF is like "State Bank of Pakistan & finance ministry".

Besides, you work in different think tanks and must be earning something from there. Just imagine of those who don't have no resources of income other than salary and then pension after retirement. Not necessarily all employees are corrupt. Only 50% posts are lucrative as far as corruption is concerned. What corruption a peon or a sweeper can do ? He can't accumulate wealth during his service tenure. It is beyond understandable why people oppose pension to employees.
