Thanks so much for this video. Sometimes I'm all over the place. I love your mindset 😊
You're welcome 😊 thanks so much for watching
Great tips. Don’t put fabric in the trash - love that. It’s great to hear that you will make what you want when you want it and not based on weight fluctuation. Life is too short. I made that mistake. No more.
Thanks Karen and I appreciate you watching 😊
Im not a great planner of my projects so was interesting watching this video!
Thanks Kris and thanks for watching 😊
I can't take my eyes off those sewing machines in the background. Girl your hair and skin is glowing. Seriously, what's your secret? ...I love that you don't buy ready to wear...especially the intimates. I'm not there yet. The decision making process for my sewing projects is all over the place...not organized at all. I usually get inspiration by looking at my fabric stash.
😄😄thank you Rebecca 😘😘 I'm such a planner, so I have to have some sort of structure. Those machines are my backups, but the Brother SE400 will be used for embroidery.
Just found your channel. Love these tips….I’m always Willy-nilly in sewing up projects and need to focus on what’s missing to have outfits to wear. Looking forward to exploring more of your videos.
Welcome! Thanks so much for watching and glad you found it helpful 😀
Loved this! Here's my batch cutting tip, because with my space limitationsI I often cut up to three projects at a time as a limit I need. Instead of project bags, I bought 3 clear acrylic stacking trays at Michael's. They are a little bigger than shoe box and can be moved as a tower--on my sewing table as I cut, on my cutting table as I sew. I am a visual organizer and the clear acrylic helps me see and stay on track with my projects. ❤
Dawn that sounds like a great process. It's always nice to figure out what works best. Thank you for watching 🥰
Thanks for the video I absolutely agree with lots of the content very enjoyable 😊😊😊
Glad you enjoyed it Robyn 😊 thanks for watching
Great advice on watching videos of other creators whose aesthetic you might now share. You can stand to learn a lot from different sewists. Don’t discount anyone. You would be surprised who can demonstrate techniques in great detail. For example I have even learned from costume designers/historical clothing creators. I also keep my garment remnants for quilting projects.
So true! We can all absolutely learn from oth😊ers whose style may not be ours
Hard to find patterns on the big 4 for plus sized gals. I buy them cheap at Joann’s! 😂
I hack/ modify them using Nancy Zieman’s Pivot and slide method .
Sounds like a great process 😊thanks for sharing
Very
Appropriate subject
For me today. I’ve been spinning around this morning trying to decide what to do next. To get started, I’m making English pillowcases for the granddaughters. Next question, Donny shirt or Hinterland dress for me in fall colors. So many options. Also going to quilt group this afternoon.
You got this!😊 glad you found it helpful
I’m with you! Don’t look at the picture or designer names on the pattern, I’ve always looked at the line drawings! Designer brands , instagram, Pinterest doesn’t impress me. I will try learning about the Pinterest boards you mentioned for inspiration. Thank you 🙏. Just subbed.
Greetings from NYC 🗽👍🏼🇵🇷😃❤
I LOVE Pinterest the most, definitely give it a go😊
Hello my friend! I'm listening to you as I'm driving home from church!
Thanks Zelda
