I grew up in the 70's. I'm short sighted. Colour Blind. And was born an identical twin [my brother is no longer with us]. I've been wearing glasses since I was eight. I used to hate it when humour comics would make jokes about short sighted people because it wasn't understanding what it's like to be one. Since all the characters making visual errors were wearing glasses. I would have gone online at the time and complained but it was the 70s so we didn't have the internet. So I just got on my life. One in twelve men are colourblind, but how many colourblind characters are there in fiction? Ray in archer is the only major one I can think of. But whatever. Fiction isn't real. So it's doesn't bother me. I don't need representation in it to feel ok with myself. And there have been great deaf characters in tv history. Bonnie in Jericho. Eileen in Supernatural. Connie in the Walking Dead. So it does happen.
Seriously instead of breaking barriers why didn’t yall make a good show ? smh there has been great female characters and has been done right ie( Ripley) (Sarah Connor) etc
Excellent show...amazing what this person has accomplished through all the (what I would consider) hardships
Proper representation isn't shoving a bunch of cultural aspects into a series. Its actually putting in the effort into a good series
You have to watch the show closed captioned?
Chances these ladies watched the show: 3%
These comments though... Echo was badass.
