I loved how the show was basically bilingual. Alaqua, you are the greatest, so badass! I loved how all of Maya's family signed, too. And they way they worked your prosthetic leg into the story, too!

I got Disney+ just to watch this series! It was so amazing!! I wish they didn’t cut off Maya’s hands mid-line so often, but still-she’s a major badass! Loved how the other actors signed with her too. The characters’ shaky ASL was believable because they were probably rusty from not seeing Maya for so long. I hope they all keep practicing between now and the second season and get a little more skilled! Beautiful ending!! 💛💛💛
