I have listened to several "expert" Hebrew vocalizations and the word Nineveh (Jonah 1:2) is pronounced "Nin"-"veh" even though there is a metheg on the the first syllable. By your teaching above it should be (and I agree) Ni-ne-veh. Do you have thoughts on this? Also what about the first word in Jonah 1:10 is the sheva on the resh vocal?
doesn't the second word at 6:00, the one below, have three letters, becoming therefore a closed syllable (CVC)? why did you write CV only? Did not get that...
Grateful for your teaching. Thanks a lot.
your channel is great! 👍God bless you!
I'm glad you're finding it helpful.
I love you.

Thanks for all these lessons.explaned very well in my opinion .אהבתי ללימוד אברית. For give my hebrew spelling .
You're most welcome. "Hebrew" in Hebrew starts with an ayin עברית. :)
I was under the impression that a syllable had to have a full vowel?
Nevermind, I heard the animated Hebrew of Jonah and you pronounced it as I thought it should.

זהבים האלה וגם יפים מאוד. האלה מצאו חסד בעיני
I tend not to treat vocal shevas a separate syllables..time will tell
