So when a chaos lord in Terminator armor tells you to kneel you say no got it , and I'm automatically applying this logic to all of the traitor legions
This would really only apply to Iron Warriors as they're one of the few traitor legions that still holds their values from the great crusades for the most part, and even rejects chaos.
Were this any other legion you'd be sodomized, flayed for days on end, turned into a warp abomination, given every disease known to man, etc etc.
Iron Warriors are assholes but they still have standards when it comes to those who prove strong, which is why I fucking love them.

Good sir, he's a Warsmith. Warsmiths, being living examples of the Iron Warrior's philosophy, have some form of respect for people who don't submit. Submission is weakness, and Weakness is a choice. A tool that does not break is a sturdy, reliable one, especially if tried and true.
Which is also a big reason most of them use MK.III power armor.

Iron Within is more important than Iron Without. Without the former, you cannot use the latter.
After reading things such as the Plague Wars trilogy and the Siege of Terra series, I shudder to think of the horrors that will come to that world. Those guardsmen are not going to remain the same, that officer is going to be unrecognizable after Chaos takes hold of her and her men. Perhaps they won’t become as twisted as their new compatriots, but Chaos is still Chaos, Iron Warriors or not.
Depends on the Iron Warriors, if they’re lucky, they’ll become forge slaves on the Demon World of the IW’s, if they’re not, well, there are fates worse than death
The IW books following Honsou are a fantastic read
Some people think that they would be subjugated to the iron warriors ‘creation’ process if you know what I mean but that is doubtful
@jevo8534 That was just something Honsou made up, not every warband tried the same thing. This warband hates the imperium, and are corrupted by time in the warp, but they don't seem totally insane, like word bearers would be.
Not exactly. You and the people who upvoted you forget that these are the Iron Warriors. They hate Chaos and see it as, at best, a tool. And they've been proven to have the right idea time and again regarding that. Chaos isn't coming to that world, or at least not in any uncontrolled and carefully regulated manner. In the lore, this is used to show the horror of the Iron Warriors themselves. It isn't Chaos that makes them do what they do, and they aren't insane. It is their own choice built upon pure, absolute rationality and cold calculation.

Why is everyone assuming Daemonculaba? You do know that they only worked in the first place since the same Iron Warriors in the prior book had sacked a gene storage vault.
Plus it'd be a waste of a good fighter. She could rise up to be a good commander of the dregs if the Warlord plans to use traitor guard troops as an effective fighting force.
Yeah, it was a one time failed experiment. However, forced hard labor isn't too great. Sure, the Imperium does it toi, but not to the degree of Iron Warriors. Also, Chaos powers are a utility so they're still probably going to torture and kill people for boons when they need them. Just the sheer lack of caring can be rather horrible.
Because it’s far and away the most gruesome thing you can attach to IW. They ignore that the IW aren’t a monolithic legion and that that’s more of a one off from absconding with geneseed
She still has a weapon and her war-gear, albeit with the Eagles removed. She's probably going to be in the same position as before under a new boss.

Iron Warriors seems like the least hostile traitor legion I've ever seen. Others would just straight out kill or torture every human in sight.
Meanwhile, IW will spare you if give them a middle finger when asked to kneel. Iron without, iron within, indeed.
I mean you're going to be used as cannon fodder and probably have them dropping your own artillery on you but hey MUCH better than other chaos alternatives

This could also happen to someone who proves to a khoned World eater that he is a warrior! World Eaters sometimes leave alive those who serve Khorne better when they spill blood and collect skulls. The Blood Pakt is an excellent example of that.

Yeah. I still don't think we have a canonized illustration of Demon Prince Pert. I'm hoping that he's the next demon primarch after Fulgrim, especially with Vashtorr and possibly Dark Mechanicum coming.

The female imperial guard well she only mange to postpone the inevitable.
If the Iron Warriors doesn´t kill her at some point as a sacrifice to a demon engine, she will most likely die when the Imperium comes to retake the planet.
Either die in the defense of it or be executed as a traitor by the Commissar or Space Marine captain that conquers the planet.
Or if they chose to hand her over to the inquisition, she will still die yes... but she will die screaming from extended torture.
Or she is female and probably still able to have children so the iron warriors might take her with them and turn her into a Daemonculaba.
The only way she can survive is if she goes so deep into chaos and impresses one or all of the chaos gods enough so they elevate her into daemonhood.
Which would mean an eternity of servitude to her patron god/gods.
Either way she´s fucked.
There are trillions of random females who can be kidnapped. Why would you specifically waste a military officer. They could just raid a single city on this world and have enough bodies for decades.

Seeing Iron Warriors in action was pretty cool, but I myself would love to see more of my big three favorite chapters get more love than they currently have. Basically, my dream series is to see the Salamanders, Iron Hands and Raven Guard form a alliance against an enemy that can be viewed as characters against each of their chapter's values.
Heck, as a bit of a sick joke, I wanna see an Iron Hands be compared to an Iron Warrior. That'd be an interesting dynamic now that we have "Iron Within" as a plot reference.
That's why I adore chaos, they are stronger and more powerful.
Gonna say this: immagine if at 1:00 , we saw the mountain of iron and hatered that was Perturabo, looking at the sun.
Whelther it is a test or not, the guardsmen doesn't seem happy about the outcome.
Not only she will be force to do something she doesn't like, she also won't be able to see her family(even it would not happening in normal situation) and be seen as traitor in imperium eyes.
No happy ending for every guardsmen's life, I guess.

The Iron Warriors decided to kill the loyalist that chose to betray the emperador in order to safe the people cuz thats the most anti chaos thing to do thats why they prefered to spare the female imperial guard cuz she didnt cared from anyone but herself using the emperors loyalty as an excuse for self preservation. In the end she was willing to betray the emperador in order to survive after seeing the Iron Warrior Space Marine kill the loyalist.
Preferably I'd say everyone including the emperor has failed her and she chose to side with them
He chose her to live because she refused to submit even though she knew she would die. He chose her because her will is iron.

@@Erikjust the fact that cawl proved he's smarter than hundreds of scientists and has EVERY SINGLE gene seed, means that not only has he made the better soldiers, it also it lore proof that anyone can do it. You mean to tell me Cawl human can do it (and even the emperor living 40k at 30k years is not as smart as a MORTAL woman) but Fabius bile can't?
The lore is broken, the standard is everyone can do it. And cawl couldn't even come up with a good change rate for the most expensive and experienced soldiers, 60% survival means you're losing more than half a chapter at best and at worse maybe you're left with 100 people from random.

Not heard of chaos. The guard probably had a past life with their family, bleak as their homeworld was & probs met comrades at barracks. They lived their life believing in the uplifting religion of the God Emperor.
They were probs brainwashed to serve the throne before or during their training at the imperial corps before being shipped off to fight & die in his name. There was purpose in serving the Emperor. Short as their lives were.
All that is gone now. They're fighting for nothing. Worked fingers to the bone under constant & ruthless occupation of the Iron Warriors. Tired, exhausted, afraid. Feelings of guilt & remorse. And everything, devoid of purpose. The comissar got the easy way out, even though branded a coward.

Which is an important distinction for an average human. In the human angle, the same logic applies to the xenos, mutants and the rest. There is a difference to following chaos and not following the imperium
She's not really 'following' anything..
For her, it was more about being unwilling to stop fighting / give up.
First, she's fighting against Dark Eldar... sure she's having to give ground, but she's constantly fighting back. Then she learns that the governor is the one who let them in and wants to run to save himself... showing that the vary imperium she's stood for is corrupt.. ends up standing before the Dark Eldar leader and refuses to back down even then, going so far as to stab him in the foot knowing it'd likely be the last thing she does. Then, when faced with the Terminator, simply takes it as she did everything else, refusing to back down.
She was fighting for her home, and the Governor showed that 'some' of the home she was fighting for (and the imperium he represented) had turned its back on the people.. Iron warriors show up and say they will put a end to that and return the planet to a place of strength.
For her.. she hasn't betrayed anything, She's still fighting for her planet, refusing to back down. Only now instead of a governor who's only looking out for himself, she has Iron Warriors as government (or a sorts)
She joined the Guard to protect her home not cause of faith, as long her planet is safe, she doesnt care who rules it

Honestly this logic is really not logical at all, for a legion that has logistics and siege as it's game, will always play the most safe and logical, take any cards and throw away those who rebel. They human foddered when they were the good guys, good luck imagining that they'll accept someone who refuses to kneel before them.
I could literally change the scene around to her getting smashed and still the dialogue could be the same.

Uhm I just see now the deleted the First Video.. so I gotta reupload it.. In early Stages of Battle the Priest got told to call to the Angels of Death for Assistance! After some Hours of Battle and the Priest doing his Job he came back to the Sergeant and told him no signs of help and he needs to rest !!! The Sergeant said he is not allowed to rest and should try it again. So it seems like that the Priest called upon the Iron Warriors without knowing it because he haven’t had enough energy for doing it..

There are no female astartes, and I suspect if you gave a woman the treatment the implants would either reject her outright or turn her into a man.

You cannot change men into women biologically, the gene seed is an upgrade, it builds on what is there already. Hence the massive casualty list when getting astartes.
The only other way is for her to be a demonc...., you can guess the rest.
@@mivapusa Rejection, death and the waste of a set of geneseed. Astartes are downscaled clones of the primarchs, who were all men. A clone of a man is in turn a man.

Was that the sun she was staring at in the end? Or was that something to do with chaos? Because I noticed that the sky has changed but then again they were fighting in the dark and rain. I was thinking either the world is now part of chaos of some sort. I love the story and how it was put together I'm not nit picky as a lot of people I am just happy to see the Iron Warriors in CGI and I think they were done very well and I appreciate this creation and thankful that it is a thing.
A normal warp rift utilized by voidcraft are purple. A hole torn into real space caused by the warp itself however is bright blood red. If I recall correctly it is because the main entryway into the warp leads to an empty void within, think of it as though you opened a teleported into a crossroads and not a specific street so what they’ve done is create a warp tear allowing entry from ALL chaos domains.
In my experience, legolas from lotr mentioned when dawn is red, blood has been spilled
