    In the latter days some shall DEPART FROM THE FAITH. You can’t depart from something you didn’t enter into.

    Important truth. I love Dake because he quotes only the scripture. No opinions of men.

    John 10:28-29 Double eternal security. Hebrews 13:5. He will never leave us or forsake us. John 6:37. He will never cast us out. John 3:18. Believers can no longer be condemned, but unbelievers are condemned already because they have not believed on the name of the Son of God.
    Romans 6:23. The GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE. No one can earn it. Acts 16:31. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved and thy house. Romans 11:6. Romans 4:5-8. Romans 3:26-28. Sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise. Ephesians 1:13-14. Ephesians 4:30. And grieve not the Holy Spirit in whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. The rapture of the church. First Corinthians 15:51-53 and First Thessalonians 4:13-18.

      Free Moral Agency and the doctrine of Faith when studied show us we can leave the Faith and lose our Faith . God will not take away your place with Him but you can decide to leave at any time . Your Free will is still in play . I have seen people walk away and they wanted nothing to do with the things of God any longe . If you are just backslyding you are always wanting to come back to fathers house but sin has you decieved into a poor spiuritual lifestyle .

      Ephesians 1:13-14 Our guarantee of eternal life. Hebrews 13:5. He will never leave us or forsake us. Gods promise to us. John 6;47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, HATH, (PRESENT TENSE) EVERLASTING LIFE.
      Second Timothy 2:13. IF we believe not, (after we have once believed) He abideth faithful, He cannot deny Himself. Ephesians 4:30. And grieve not the Holy Spirit in whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
      IT is impossible to lose eternal life or it would not be eternal life. Romans 6:23 For the penalty for sin is death, BUT, (the good news) THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE. Once we accept the GIFT, we have eternal life. God cannot lie. John 6:40. John 6:29.
      John 10:28-29 And I gift unto them, eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. No one. God has His hold on us. The promise of God is eternal life. God keeps His promises. John 6:40. John 6:29. Redeemed by the blood of the lamb, a child and forever I am. John 1:12.

      We are free to accept it or reject it, but once we accept it, it cannot be changed back. John 3:18. First John 5:13. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace ye are saved, through FAITH, and that not of yourselves, IT is the GIFT of God, NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST. Romans 3:26-28. For HE is the just and the JUSTIFIER of them that BELIEVE in Jesus.

      @@jimkraft9445 Do you realize that God talks about casting those who departed from the faith into outer darkness. These will not go into the New Jerusalem . Heaven has Gates and Walls to keep those out who have departed from the faith. Jesus said we must enter through the straight gate . Read the entire bible and not just your Pet Verses ?

    • @jimkraft9445
      @jimkraft9445 Год назад +1

      I do not have any pet verses. I have Gods word who cannot lie. John 6:47. John 3:18. We can be chastened by the Lord, Colossians 3:5-6, and lose the rewards we could have had in heaven, First Corinthians 3:11-15. But not eternal life or it would not be eternal. And no one can earn it. You are either saved forever or you are not saved at all.
      Romans 1:16. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, (First Corinthians 15:1-4) For it is the POWER of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVETH, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. John 3:18.
      To depart from something means you had it at one time. Departing from the faith does not mean you can lose eternal life. It is those that have never believed it that are never saved. John 3:18. Second Timothy 2:13. God cannot lie John 6:40, and John 6:29.

      Johnny Adams Hebrews 6:1-8, should help you friend...but if your sinning all the time, then you were really never saved and came thru a real repentance anyway.....
      1Jo 3:8 - 1Jo 3:10
      8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
      10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.....so just do what Hebrews 6:1-4 says to do....and this to...
      Proverbs 28:13
      13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
      but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

      Johnny, that is not speaking of committing a sin but living in and practicing sin

    • @jimkraft9445
      @jimkraft9445 Год назад

      It only takes one sin to send us to hell forever. BUT. First John 2:2. And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world. Jesus died for the sins of everyone in the world. But only those who accept the free gift of eternal life that HE paid for are saved forever. John 3:18 Romans 4:5. Faith alone apart from any works. Acts 16:31. Period. Jesus paid the debt of sin we owe God, and set us free. We all sin. First John 1:8. And we have to be as righteous as God to go to heaven. Romans 4:6. Just as David describeth the blessedness of the man to whom the Lord imputeth righteousness, apart from works. And our sin debt is paid in full. God does not want His children, John 1:12, living in sin so He chastens us as His own children. But He will never leave us or forsake us. Hebrews 13:5. But the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience. Colossians 3:5-6. But never loss of eternal life. Galatians 3:3.

    If you are truly saved you have eternal security. A lot of those scriptures you have to be aware who The writer is talking to. For instance in James, James is writing to the 12 tribes. A lot of times the Bible is not talking to church age Christians.

    • @DakePublishing
      @DakePublishing  6 лет назад +4

      everything written in scripture was written as an example and acts as a mirror, a sword, ointment, reproof, encouragement, the list goes on; however, all scripture is valid and all will be accountable to Him who sits on the throne, to spiritual Jews (Gentiles), and naturally Jews. All things that were written were for all people who shall call upon the name of the Lord and wants to be saved. For sure James is talking to the 12 tribes, but the Spiritual lessons James is talking about and speaking to "12 tribes" are valid to all ... and .. James was half-brother of Jesus I can assure you he spoke to all who would listen and hear the words of GOD ...12 tribes yes, but his words were eternal words for Jews and Gentiles. Anything he spoke about the Kingdom was given to him from his half-brother Jesus and Lord and King and that also came straight from the Father who sent the Son to speak tell all that he saw and had seen with the Father. You are right eternal security is not an issue to worry about unless you are bent on wanting to live in things that contrary to Gods purpose for dying. Wow, what grace and mercy that we could be called the Sons of God.

      Eternal life is relationship with God, if you are living in and practicing sin you do not have a relationship with Him and therefore do not have eternal life.
