    People feeding them... see People are usually the problem. Take a look at what happened in Lopburi Thailand (here on YT) because they let the population get out of hand. There's a lot of farmland in Florida. Out of control populations of monkeys will go after that produce and drive up food prices. Then those activist won't think these thing are so cute then. They are an invasive species and do impact the environment and disrupt the lives of the indigenous wildlife as well as people's homes.

    I have seen them down here in the Ft Lauderdale area. Specifically, Dania Beach. First saw them 2 years ago. Just now finding out what they are and how they got here today.

    • @TheWhoya
      @TheWhoya Год назад

      Those are African green monkeys that escaped from a research lab and have been allowed to remain because they are pretty much trapped in the Ft Lauderdale Airport area. There's also a few squirrel monkeys for some reason... something to do with the bonnet house i believe. That's all you'll get in that S Fl region and it holds at a population of about 50.
      This Col Tuey Tooey whatever was not the only reason, there was some released or escaped from a load for the other silver springs area monkeys. This group had been culled and otherwise will easily reach 10000s
