Seems like a nice place to swim
😆
Right! 🤪
You first!
Wow, great use of the drone. Thanks.
Seriously such great footage!!
Great footage! I've wanted to go there for years. Soooo many gators.
Imagine parachuting into that.....
Grew up wade fishing all over the lower lake and the river. Best of times in the 70s
I love this video. I filmed a couple videos for my channel this past winter at Myakka State Park as well.
Awesome footage ❤
What a cool place! Great video
Great work I go there often with my husband but never thought there was a deep, hole wow amazing
Most Amazing! I never knew there was such a place
I been there like 10 years ago but my friends never told me what i was going to find there 😑
Great Video. Seems that they may have gotten some fresh Laundry recently.
You mean dirty
The vultures at the hole are confused about what is dying there 😆
I've kayaked there a few times. Literally surrounded by gators. The spot at the north end (where the vultures were in your video) seems to be a choice spot for the biggest gators. As you pan around the perimeter, the gators get smaller in size on the southern end of the circle. Gator hierarchy I guess
Where did u launch your kayak
@@samibenghuzzi4212 at the south pavilion right off 72. Almost as soon as you go thru the gate on the right
Great shots. Any info on the music playing from 205-450
We were lucky enough to go there 3yrs ago, RV camping at Christmas time. Great trail. I was afraid of running into wild boar in the brush, but didn’t. I guess my intuition was right, it’s good habitat for them. Welcome to WILD Florida. 🌴🌴🌴
Always take a dog
Is there any explanation as to why so many gators hang out there?
During the dry season, when the lake levels are much lower, all of the fauna congregate in the “deep pool.” So there’s lots of gator food that flock to this area. The pool itself is pretty deep, something like 130ft, and below 30ft the water is anoxic. Lots of dead fish at the bottom.
Went here a few years ago could not believe the number of gators.
What a spot. 👌🏻
Do you have to get get a permit to also fly the drone, I have been wanting to go there, and now that I have a drone I would love to go there to fly my drone!
How to get there exactly?
pretty sure theres a good reason to say "no pets" lol
A lake full of gators with vultures circling above...
I was under the impression that flying drones is prohibited in FLORIDA State Parks.
I canoued through it twice.
Do you have to have a license to fly the drone? That is the best way to see this it seems :)
We actually call it the pit.
that...is...horrifying!!!!!! thanks for showing us a place to stay away from!
Awesome I want to see the deep hole
Have to get there early to get the pass. Friends of mine are there today . Hope they got a pass
WOW!!!
There used to be a gator pond here in the barrier islands near Savannah but due to years of tourism, storms, and being shown on TV in a special like this, it's gone... nothing there but a puddle of trash! So sad and pathetic. I hope this place remains in a state of natural beauty.... but I doubt it will forever.
I'm from Savannah n I agree
I thought they were sharks,to many
Alligators are cool
Very nice.
Great footage.
Q:
That hole is nearly circular which is not normal in flowing water..... was it formed from a man-made structure?
Short answer: sinkhole filled from underground water
Long answer: read up on karst topography. Florida is a great example of this geological landscape.

Thanks.
people always ruin things for everyone
Like.. omg!
They need Mr handbag man to stop by
Exactly. 😉
Is kayaking near gators dangerous? Kayaks are very low to the water and can flip?!?!
People do it every day
You answered your own question. Stay away unless you want to be on the menu.
Well plenty of them around there, did you bring any back to Canada? 😂
Dang,,,
Don't be scared of the Gators you see be terrified of the ones you cant see. 🙀🙀🏊🙈🐊🐊🐊🐊
You lost me at 8 am in the morning ! JUST SAY AM !
Not the only Hole he like to be all up in 🌈
I was thinking the same shit...🤣
Creepy✌️
that hole is creepy lol reminds me of that scene from Indiana Jones when the dude falls off the rope bridge and gets eaten by crocodiles
Alligators*
@@brandon.2125 what different dude
This guy sounds like a Yankee!
Some one needs the put up a sign that reads " Democratic swimming only"... 🤣🤣🤣
Drones are illegal there , this has been sent to FAA and state of FL.
Why is it that gay people’s voice and dialect changes lmao. Sexual preference is irrelevant to this and says that they purposely act the way they do, dress the way they do, and speak the way they do for attention.
You just watched incredible drone footage of a one-of-a-kind spot full of beautiful and dangerous alligators...and that's your observation? You incredibly strange, dumb bigot?
Btw, bros who are obsessed with gay people tend to be deeply closeted. So...good luck with your journey. We're all rooting for you. Even the gators.
What's that got to do with a freaking thing about this video.
@@smokendt well, the presentation spoken dialogue is literally 50% of the video’s source info. The visual is the other 50%. So.......... I dont know, you add it up.
The host doesn't strike me necessarily as gay.
He does sound Canadian though.
Why are you obsessed about gay people?
Why do you write the way you do?
@@dvdrakiepoo6950 Well, he sounds like a Yankee or Canadian, and we have way too many of both of these Foreign types in the South already!
Why do you have valley girl accent?
Also the gators are cool.
