I had 0 hype and expectation going in, just saw it on Netflix and said "Hey what the heck. I've played a few games of league over the years." Instantly hooked.
I wasnt ready for jinx to have such a normal voice before she had gone basically insane. Like omg, the amount of new depth into each character is going to be amazing because of who they are before they're in league hopefully
I think Jinx will be completely insane just in the end on the show, her eyes are still blue, in game is pink, on the 'enemy' music video, theres a brief moment of her eyes turning crazy pink... She is such cutie being somewhat 'sane' lol

All army in noxus, demancia, frejilord, shurima, .... all in runeterra will have a greatest battle ... the battle with the void. Those monster killing the army of god in shurima easy like eating dinner, even the 3 god and 3 sister of ice in freljord can't do nothing but sealed them for a while in ice ... but the void is unstopable.. they comming and the series about them will become legendary battle.
After 3 years, Arcane is over... And I have to say it: Arcane is a masterpiece in every Possible way. Every second of this series is unique and wonderful... The animation, the characters, the plot, the appearance of the cities and locations, and finally the soundtrack is just epic
If this became successful, hope they adapt other regions in League as well! Notably Azir and Xerath's story in shurima, all of Mt. Targon, even Noxus VS Ionia!
dont forget about Bilgewater, which is one of the best events in the game that changed how storytelling for the lore came to be, especially Gangplank and Miss Fortune before she became Captain Fortune.
As someone who fell out of LoL a long time ago, Vi and Jinx are still near and dear to my heart as my mains. I can't wait to watch this with my mom who has no idea what LoL is, cause it just genuinely looks like a fun emotional adventure that'll need no prior game knowledge.

I think the same, I love to watch shows with my mom, I'm having a good time rewatching modern animes (Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Jojo, Hunter x Hunter), and we are loving that. Cartoons and animes are the future, TV live action series are becoming bad (my opnion).
Jinx has always been my main. Haven't played league for a while. Seeing how they made a series (not just short anims) and Jinx as one of the mains in this film. I could see her in a new light as a sane character. This shows there's more to her lore than what I already know. I like her a lot already before. Now I think I'm going to love her even more!
The foreshadowing this trailer gives us is already too much for us to handle, like how Vi and Caitlyn met and how Viktor was perpetrated into his glorious evolution. I would like to see Riot continuing this story-telling from now on.

One of the best series ever made. RIOT surpassed all expectations. In less than 2 months, this serie will be on mouth of everyone around the world. Even people who never heard of the game.
This is the greatest television show I've ever witnessed. The animation, the music, the voice acting, the characters, the storytelling, the worldbuilding-- ALL exceptional, ALL perfect. The mad lads at Fortiche delivered on something truly special. I say all this having never touched a LOL game in my life. That's how phenomenal this show is.

Basically, if you've played the game you'll recognize a bunch of references and some of the characters before they're introduced. But it's a prequel story for the characters in the game that are involved. So you don't need to know anything going into it.

But if I would play game from its start and after all these years see that riot finally did movie with my mains I would literally die from excitement cuz this is the best present from riot to league players

No, no they did not. They outsourced this entire project, and furthermore, they've fired all the good writers in their company. The last project they actually handled themselves was Ruination, which ended up an awful disgrace that let the fans down in every way because they decided good writing is expendable (their actual words) and fired all their talent. So what I'm saying is don't give Riot credit for this, because they don't deserve it. Give props to the studio handling the show.
Hopefully, this show does exceptionally well, so we can get others dedicated to the other regions as well. We've come so far. And we're just getting started.

@@Harry-lc1nz freljord is a very hard region to begin with, because is not so much explorated yet in the lore, and is one of the biggest and more ancient lore of all runeterra, just think about demi gods, the watchers, the iceborns and draklorns, even darkins are quite hard to understand yet, cause a lot of stuff like celestial beings are implemented, and for a beginner of lol lore could be hard to stay behind all that. But of course in the future would be very cool to see those stories also.

So, they decided to start here because is more accessible to Casual/Netflix users that are into video games on the platform. Just watch it, we probably have more seasons in other regions and time
I watch a lot of fantasy and animated media, but this immediately became my favorite series of all time after viewing season 1. To call it a masterpiece almost feels like an understatement. I hope Riot and Fortiche take all the time they need to keep the quality the same for season 2.

I wanna see more Ekko. Granted he probably hasnt created his Z Drive yet by the time all of this takes place, so he’d have to rely on his other inventions. But he’s pretty young still, as this is before Jinx went crazy so she’s probably 17-18 which would make him 13-14. Vi was his friend by not his sister like she is for Jinx so he probably isn’t as driven as she is, and he has both his parents at home still, while Jinx n Vi look like Orphans, so he probably isn’t going to be taking part in this full blown rebellion. Still hope he plays some role though with his genius inventions helping Jinx or something, since that showed him a lot in the Enemies video and they looked like best friends when they were kids
Iirc this has been in the works for QUITE some time. I think not too longer after Jinx’s release it was brought up for the first time. I’m glad this idea is being brought to light and wasn’t scrapped.

SO much love and attention to detail poured into every ounce, from design and technique to heart and story. Same here dude the game was still somewhat new and things were exciting. I don’t really play anymore the players and the game itself has gotten too toxic to play but the lore and characters have always been my favorite thing since the beginning. I remember before riot changed it that there was an argument on whether or not jinx and Vi were actually sisters.
I hope this is just the beginning. Runeterra has amazing lore to create more series and this is the reason I play this game. Im exited to see the future animation projects from Riot games
the studio which takes care of Arcane took 6 years to make 9 episodes so I think that if a film or a series comes out it will be another studio so not the same style of animation
Singed could show up, but people are theorizing that the guy at the bar is actually Warwick before his mutilation and subsequent mutation at the hands of Singed since Warwick has some lines with Vi and Jinx where he seems to remember them, and the guy here seems to have a deep bond with the 2 of them
That guys def not singed, and I dont think its warwick either Singed is somewhat of an aristocrat and has high level connections so i dont see him being a barkeep. He also works under Noxus's military at some point in the lore alongside Riven If this bartender knows everyone in town its POSSIBLE hes warwick. Warick knew everyone before being taken and experimented on.

Watching Arcane felt like a core-memory, an absolutely stunning and fantastic show. So happy that I watched it and as excited as ever for Season 2!
This is the greatest television show I've ever witnessed. The animation, the music, the voice acting, the characters, the storytelling, the worldbuilding-- ALL exceptional, ALL perfect. The mad lads at Fortiche delivered on something truly special. I say all this having never touched a LOL game in my life. That's how phenomenal this show is.
This show is bloody brilliant! So glad they listened to the fans about making the lore a show.

Basically, if you've played the game you'll recognize a bunch of references and some of the characters before they're introduced. But it's a prequel story for the characters in the game that are involved. So you don't need to know anything going into it.
If Demacia got its own animated series, all I would hear is probably: "DEMACIA!!!"

No, no they did not. They outsourced this entire project, and furthermore, they've fired all the good writers in their company. The last project they actually handled themselves was Ruination, which ended up an awful disgrace that let the fans down in every way because they decided good writing is expendable (their actual words) and fired all their talent.
So what I'm saying is don't give Riot credit for this, because they don't deserve it. Give props to the studio handling the show.
Just come by to say well done story writing team animation team music team. Everyone involved with this project bravo.

@@autisonm It's kinda rumored that not all champs will be in it, and not every part of runeterra will be accessible. It's most likely going to take place in Freljord, a few hundred or even thousand years before the current timeline
I'm really glad they are starting with Jinx's and Vi's story. They want to be the most exciting as possible since the very beginning.

@@BlackEra true but they could have done something like frejlord, a barbaric viking land is pretty simple and exciting as well especially with something like the interaction between trynd and aatrox possibly opening up viewers to the more advanced side of the sick lore (darkin etc). not to say they can't do that for arcane (camille, viktor + jayce etc) but i reckon theres way more that riot could have experimented with.
@@Harry-lc1nz freljord is a very hard region to begin with, because is not so much explorated yet in the lore, and is one of the biggest and more ancient lore of all runeterra, just think about demi gods, the watchers, the iceborns and draklorns, even darkins are quite hard to understand yet, cause a lot of stuff like celestial beings are implemented, and for a beginner of lol lore could be hard to stay behind all that. But of course in the future would be very cool to see those stories also.

I watch a lot of fantasy and animated media, but this immediately became my favorite series of all time after viewing season 1. To call it a masterpiece almost feels like an understatement. I hope Riot and Fortiche take all the time they need to keep the quality the same for season 2.

I wanna see more Ekko. Granted he probably hasnt created his Z Drive yet by the time all of this takes place, so he’d have to rely on his other inventions.
But he’s pretty young still, as this is before Jinx went crazy so she’s probably 17-18 which would make him 13-14. Vi was his friend by not his sister like she is for Jinx so he probably isn’t as driven as she is, and he has both his parents at home still, while Jinx n Vi look like Orphans, so he probably isn’t going to be taking part in this full blown rebellion.
Still hope he plays some role though with his genius inventions helping Jinx or something, since that showed him a lot in the Enemies video and they looked like best friends when they were kids

Same here dude the game was still somewhat new and things were exciting. I don’t really play anymore the players and the game itself has gotten too toxic to play but the lore and characters have always been my favorite thing since the beginning. I remember before riot changed it that there was an argument on whether or not jinx and Vi were actually sisters.
I hope this is just the beginning. Runeterra has amazing lore to create more series and this is the reason I play this game. Im exited to see the future animation projects from Riot games

the studio which takes care of Arcane took 6 years to make 9 episodes so I think that if a film or a series comes out it will be another studio so not the same style of animation

Singed is somewhat of an aristocrat and has high level connections so i dont see him being a barkeep. He also works under Noxus's military at some point in the lore alongside Riven
