- Jon reviews the Post-Rock EZX expansion for EZDrummer 2.
In this video we take a look at this expansion pack in the context of a 1hr demo recording with 4 guitars and a bass.
I rate this 8/10 for the quality drum sounds and MIDI patterns. Minor complaints about the extra percussion samples but overall an excellent product that was just what I wanted.

I bought the Air Expansion Pack a while back which included Strike. It's great for the type of work I do - a diverse range of genres. It exceeded my expectations.
Downloading Post Rock & Post Rock grooves from Toontrack right now. Great walk-through... looking forward to writing with this over he long weekend :-)
The Post-Rock Grooves MIDI pack gives you significantly more stuff than what you get with the kit
Been considering this to add to my EZ2 and SD3 ... great video , thanks and nice toon! :-)
Thanks for the demo. Fucking love that tune! Nice work!
nice ghost notes on the snare
Killer sound man
sounds really good man. RUclips search Act Of Autumn and you'll hear my music with the same EZX. a little more in the Post Rock vein
Nice!!!
I was looking on your videos, do you have any videos that explain why your tracks are indented? Like I see Guitar bus, then indented, then guitar tracks. Not sure why or the benefit of that. I'm still pretty new to reaper.
Love this video though thank you.
When I have 5 guitar tracks, I can put them in a folder, apply processing to all the child tracks, adjust the volume of them all, and collapse/hide them from view in the arrange view and Mixer very easily.
You don't have to do it that way, I just like to have that stage before the tracks reach the master. It's great to be able to mix 60 tracks on 6 faders.
For more info try the free mixing course on the site or the audio routing video
Thank you!
Hello there, your videos help me lot, thanks for the share. One question please about Post Rock ezdrummer, did you create a note names file for it and that you could share to us please :) ? I saw you did it for Modern, so that’s why I ask the question. If yes, maybe it could be added to your « package Dropbox files ». Thanks
I am gonna use your modern kit file and modify it for post rock. The stuff seems to be « pretty similar »
"Sugar Rose" LMFAO, it's SIGUR ROS! Thanks for the demo though, it's good to hear before I purchase a 75€ software product.
What are you using for guitars and bass?
derek jurovich
I’m not sure, but I think he’s using a guitar and a bass
Will this work within superior Drummer?
Says it will on the website. No idea what differences you will see.
All the EZ Drummer packs do work in Superior.
Luis Martinez Yes, it will. You have even more control within Superior Drummer using its own mixer section, All EZX work Insider SD.
The caveat to that is most of the sounds are already processed as the library comes, and doesn't include as many mics.
Does this pack work with EZDrummer 1 or only 2?
2 only I think, not sure. EZDrummer2 is definitely worth getting
The REAPER Blog Thanks for the response. I actually just now picked up EZDrummer 2 for $30 cheaper than the Toontrack site, plus a free EZX. Liking it so far, especially the song composition feature that was sorely needed in EZDrummer 1.
Tiren un link para bajarlo viejo
"SUGAR Ròs!"

;)
I bought the Post Rock EZX on release day, it's my first go to kit. The snares are just HUGE.
Can be heard here in a full mix: differentcircle.bandcamp.com/track/moors
very cool. I wouldn't have known it was EZDrummer2 if you didn't say.
Thanks, appreciate that!
no EZX links? sad..
Taima? LOL
get your rhythm together , man
this is post rock. It just needs more reverb.
