You're a fun couple. Swimming in the Adriatic Sea in December is very brave, only a few can do it. The same goes for Silvia, walking around in the summer wardrobe and sunbathing on the beach.Wooow! Nice video, too bad you lost the drone.
Thank you Mario. Sylw has had some funny looks I am not going to lie 😅 10 to 15 degrees is a good summers day in the UK. We don't often see much sun outside of July/August 😅Annoying about the drone but we have upgraded now to the Mini 2 which is much easier to get the driving footage! 👍

Yeah Fleetwood is about 5 miles from where we lived in Bispham. Its a rough and tough little seaside village but I have met some cracking lads from there at where I used to work. Thank you mate. Really appreciate that. We will 100% return when we are back in the UK! 👍

Croatia is beautiful. If you enjoyed Oludeniz. You should definitley have a look at the Markaska Riviera for a holiday. About 20 beaches to see within a few miles. Look out for the next one, we will show it on that! 👍I think we will be going to Italy next again next year. But don't quote me on that! Ps. She still loves a drink, don't worry about that! 😅
Thank you. We really appreciate the comment. I genuinley wasnt happy with the 9-5pm grind. So we saved and are now living on the road through rental income and savings. Its not all sunshine and roses. But its really handy and cheap to get around and see Europe 👍🤣

Amazing, Lou you should sign up for some stunt man work after the fall on the ice. A change in temp must have been great. Glad the breakdown was not too bad. We had a long weekend in Oxford in May using pub car parks and had to be rescued due to the radiator leaking. Oxford to Huddersfield in a breakdown truck ahhhhh... I hate losing gear as well and you must have been destroyed to lose the drone and go-pro. You keep enjoying, you have you best mate and the dogs with you so those lovely chilled out evenings having a little drink make it the best time ever. Thanks for the lovely videos and look forwards to seeing the next one.. Andy and Maxine..
Your right, I went down like a sack of sh*t didn't I 😅 I knew it was going to be slippy but wasn't expecting that 🤣 I was devastated. More so when I left the gopro. That one hurt big time. I was literally gone 10 mins and some b@stard must have just picked it up and walked past me with it. All replaced now and as you said we are both fine and the dogs, so onwards and upwards! 👍

@@Gallivantinggriffiths Yeah its definitely anti-wild camping. We haven't had any problems yet but as you mentioned we are well out of season. We avoid all the places that say people were handed a 1000 kuna fine per person. But it often means terrible roads leading to beautiful parkups. So swings and roundabouts 🤷♂️

No word of a lie. The drive from the snow to that cliff was about 20 miles. Mental temperature change. Fuming about that slip 🤣🤣🤣. Hurt that lol. Gutted about the equipment but its just money at the end of the day. Luckily I take the footage off after every day now, so only lost that days worth. All the best mate! 👍

Thank you, you legend. We are just trying to be ourselves, minus the swearing! 😅 We are going to look at doing a van tour for February. A quick video on the kit and software we use is definitely a good idea aswell, so will do that too. Just quickly, we do these videos on a budget. We had a DJI Mini 1 and a Gopro 9. Because I lost them both we upgraded to a Mini 2 and a Gopro 10. Which you will see in the next video. Not sure there is to much difference tbh. All brilliant cameras for a basic vlog 🤷♂️👍 Ps. When you can, you should definitely get out and explore! Its cliche, but we only live once. Enjoy it! 👍❤

We definitely aim to get out an explore when we can but in the meantime have to make do with dreaming and planning so videos like yours are giving loads of ideas of which areas to include in our grand tour. @@ShonaRobb Well I don't think you can go wrong with either the DJI Mini 1 or 2. Really depends on your budget. But if you have the extra cash, definitley get the Mini 2. There is obviously much better ones by DJI. But they are alot more than I would ever pay 😅 Thank you, all the best!👍
Beautiful place, I have visited Croatia but unfortunately it was in my military service during the Bosnia War, such a stunning place, but my god it was cold during the winter, absolutely loving the series guys, thanks for sharing, safe travels...Dave.
You're absolutely right about that. It genuinely is a beautiful country. We are loving it here. The south is also turning out to be amazing. The villages and towns away from the coast are completely empty and derelict. We often wonder if that is because of the war.

@@lifesasprinter4409 That must have been harsh. Especially in the mountains where its like -15/20°c. That lake at the start of the video was -8°c in the day and a few degrees colder at night. We actually slept okay because of the dogs on the bed and we have a diesel heater but I can only imagine how cold it must have been in a sleeping bag in a Bedford. All the best 👍
Great video , looks like your having an awesome time. We did to the west coast of Scotland for ten days, really enjoyed it. It got a bit cramped in the van with 2 dogs but would do it again tomorrow (if I didn't have to work so much ) good luck with the rest of your journey it looks awesome 👍

I built our van to explore Europe but then realised we havnt even seen the UK yet 🤦I made a little compartment under the bed for the dogs which really helped. The content on your channel is great. It looks like your living life to the full. If your ever passing the northeast make sure you call in to Durham city , there's loads of history and well worth a visit. But I'm biased haha. Enjoy 👍
We went to Kres island last year in August, it was one of the best experience ever. I really love your channel and it's very entertaining to watch. I love how much down to earth you guys are and don't pretend that everything is candy land 😂

Oh brilliant. We are literally making the opposite trip 😅 Montenegro is lovely. Obviously the National Parks in the East are snowing and the roads are not the best. So we have just stuck the coast and its beautiful and very quiet!

We were on catch up after that. But it gives us an excuse to get back up there and see all those islands. I bet they are beautiful aswell! 👍❤
I'll see how year unfolds but I'd like to aquire a van. My friend and neighbour has been buying up vans last 5 or 6 yrs and just customising them and selling on. Really has it down to a fine art. It's a hobby. Another good mate in aberdeen aswell finished his large van year or so ago and is away alot. Food for thought. Put my motorbike on a trailer and head off with 🐕.
You definitely should. I genuinely, hand on heart, couldn't recommend it enough. Especially for the weekends away. We regret not getting one earlier and exploring more of the UK. We met a Scottish fella by Loch Ken, who had a big dog and a 4x4 that he stripped the seats out of. He said he got away most weekends in that, explored the Forrests during the day and chilled out with a beer and this dog in the evenings! But yeah, definitely recommend exploring more of Scotland and the UK 👍
For sure. I'd like to travel from Holland across to Finland. My great friend Joanna lives outside Helsinki. I've always wanted to see the whole country as its stunning. She and her lad are bikers. They went right upto North through Lapland to norwegian border. Europe's most northerly point is up there.then got permission to go into Norway then travel down and eventually across Sweden to Finland 🇫🇮 last summer. They were in campervan for that trip.
That would be awesome. Scandinavia will be our last stop I think. Honestly mate, I would say definitely get a van and stick your bike on the back of it. Get on the road. Its cliche. But we only live once and you never know what is around the corner. That is the reason we are doing what we are. I was sick of the grind and not happy with my life. Some how I managed to convince Sylw to join the cause 😅 We always planned to do this retirement but who knows what state we will be in then👍
Yeah. Totally with you on not waiting to do things in this life .we only pass this way once. I've learnt brutally on how the universe will kick you in the groin out blue and upturn everything you thought was going along. Too many don't fullfil our potential and at the end there is no room for regret as it's the end. Hi! Looks amazing guys! We have a Staffordshire bull terrier cross and found that they are banned in certain countries when we started travelling. Croatia is supposed to be one of the countries where they are not allowed, which changed our travel plans. Did you find there were any issues getting yours into croatia at all? Many thanks!
Hey Laura. Sorry for the late reply. No we had no issues anywhere. I was also worried about him when we set off. We actually saw quite a few Staffs/Pitbulls so they obviously dont care to much 😅

Nope your incorrect Jos. The van was not starting because the neutral to the Starter Motor and battery was completely rusted and full of crap (due to the snow from the couple of days before). I watched everything he did. A top gent and it cost like 40€. The breakdown truck was from our free European breakdown. Thank you for watching anyway! ☺👍
@@Lou_Sylw_Bulgarian_Rescue_Dogs ok then i apologize ,saw a dashcam video of a German van and they spotted a guy going in front of the van pulling some cables,the next day the same guy comes whit his tow truck
@@LifeIsGreatHeavenCanWait No worries. I can imagine this sort of thing happens. But we actually broke down on a beach in the middle of nowhere. Called the breakdown cover. They couldn't get us started or pull us out because they didn't have a 4x4, so left us on the beach for the night and was going to hire a tractor from a local farm the next day. Luckily, I had a can of Wd40 and sprayed the connectors. It wouldn't start that evening but the following morning it just about started and we called the breakdown people when we got to the nearest village. He stripped the cables out and cleaned them all and it was good to go! I was very stressed and p*ssed off, so I didn't record that side of it 😅 🤷♂️
Is that video from Croatia because I have never heard of anyone doing that in Croatia? Car repair shops are on every corner, how would that man know he was going to be called? And that man should break into that van to open the hood. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that's not possible in Croatia, I've just never heard of such a thing. It seems to me that such an action carries a lot of risk (revocation of work licence and imprisonment) for a few hundred Kuna work. Like I said, I’ve never heard of it but nowadays anything is possible.

Yeah Fleetwood is about 5 miles from where we lived in Bispham. Its a rough and tough little seaside village but I have met some cracking lads from there at where I used to work. Thank you mate. Really appreciate that. We will 100% return when we are back in the UK! 👍

Croatia is beautiful. If you enjoyed Oludeniz. You should definitley have a look at the Markaska Riviera for a holiday. About 20 beaches to see within a few miles. Look out for the next one, we will show it on that! 👍I think we will be going to Italy next again next year. But don't quote me on that!

Thank you. We really appreciate the comment. I genuinley wasnt happy with the 9-5pm grind. So we saved and are now living on the road through rental income and savings. Its not all sunshine and roses. But its really handy and cheap to get around and see Europe 👍🤣

Amazing, Lou you should sign up for some stunt man work after the fall on the ice. A change in temp must have been great. Glad the breakdown was not too bad. We had a long weekend in Oxford in May using pub car parks and had to be rescued due to the radiator leaking. Oxford to Huddersfield in a breakdown truck ahhhhh... I hate losing gear as well and you must have been destroyed to lose the drone and go-pro. You keep enjoying, you have you best mate and the dogs with you so those lovely chilled out evenings having a little drink make it the best time ever. I was literally gone 10 mins and some b@stard must have just picked it up and walked past me with it. All replaced now and as you said we are both fine and the dogs, so onwards and upwards! 👍

@@Gallivantinggriffiths Yeah its definitely anti-wild camping. We haven't had any problems yet but as you mentioned we are well out of season. We avoid all the places that say people were handed a 1000 kuna fine per person. But it often means terrible roads leading to beautiful parkups. So swings and roundabouts 🤷♂️

No word of a lie. The drive from the snow to that cliff was about 20 miles. Mental temperature change. Fuming about that slip 🤣🤣🤣. Hurt that lol. Gutted about the equipment but its just money at the end of the day. Luckily I take the footage off after every day now, so only lost that days worth. All the best mate! 👍

Thank you, you legend. We are just trying to be ourselves, minus the swearing! 😅 We are going to look at doing a van tour for February. A quick video on the kit and software we use is definitely a good idea aswell, so will do that too. Just quickly, we do these videos on a budget. We had a DJI Mini 1 and a Gopro 9. Because I lost them both we upgraded to a Mini 2 and a Gopro 10. Which you will see in the next video. Not sure there is to much difference tbh. All brilliant cameras for a basic vlog 🤷♂️👍
Ps. When you can, you should definitely get out and explore! Its cliche, but we only live once. Enjoy it! 👍❤

@@ShonaRobb Well I don't think you can go wrong with either the DJI Mini 1 or 2. Really depends on your budget. But if you have the extra cash, definitley get the Mini 2. There is obviously much better ones by DJI. But they are alot more than I would ever pay 😅 Thank you, all the best!👍

You're absolutely right about that. It genuinely is a beautiful country. We are loving it here. The south is also turning out to be amazing. The villages and towns away from the coast are completely empty and derelict. We often wonder if that is because of the war.

@@lifesasprinter4409 That must have been harsh. Especially in the mountains where its like -15/20°c. That lake at the start of the video was -8°c in the day and a few degrees colder at night. We actually slept okay because of the dogs on the bed and we have a diesel heater but I can only imagine how cold it must have been in a sleeping bag in a Bedford. All the best 👍

I built our van to explore Europe but then realised we havnt even seen the UK yet 🤦I made a little compartment under the bed for the dogs which really helped. The content on your channel is great. It looks like your living life to the full. If your ever passing the northeast make sure you call in to Durham city , there's loads of history and well worth a visit. But I'm biased haha. Enjoy 👍

Thank you. It was a very expensive trip in the end. Smartphone went splash first, then a van break down, then the drone flew off and then some b@$tard took our gopro 🤦♂️. All replaced or fixed and we are currently in the South of Croatia putting a film together for next time! 👍

I'll see how year unfolds but I'd like to aquire a van. My friend and neighbour has been buying up vans last 5 or 6 yrs and just customising them and selling on. Really has it down to a fine art. It's a hobby. Another good mate in aberdeen aswell finished his large van year or so ago and is away alot. Food for thought. Put my motorbike on a trailer and head off with 🐕.
You definitely should. I genuinely, hand on heart, couldn't recommend it enough. Especially for the weekends away. We regret not getting one earlier and exploring more of the UK. We met a Scottish fella by Loch Ken, who had a big dog and a 4x4 that he stripped the seats out of. He said he got away most weekends in that, explored the Forrests during the day and chilled out with a beer and this dog in the evenings! But yeah, definitely recommend exploring more of Scotland and the UK 👍
For sure. I'd like to travel from Holland across to Finland. My great friend Joanna lives outside Helsinki. I've always wanted to see the whole country as its stunning. She and her lad are bikers. They went right upto North through Lapland to norwegian border. Europe's most northerly point is up there.then got permission to go into Norway then travel down and eventually across Sweden to Finland 🇫🇮 last summer. They were in campervan for that trip.
That would be awesome. Scandinavia will be our last stop I think. Honestly mate, I would say definitely get a van and stick your bike on the back of it. Get on the road. Its cliche. But we only live once and you never know what is around the corner. That is the reason we are doing what we are. I was sick of the grind and not happy with my life. Some how I managed to convince Sylw to join the cause 😅 We always planned to do this retirement but who knows what state we will be in then👍

I've learnt brutally on how the universe will kick you in the groin out blue and upturn everything you thought was going along. Too many don't fullfil our potential and at the end there is no room for regret as it's the end. We have a Staffordshire bull terrier cross and found that they are banned in certain countries when we started travelling. Croatia is supposed to be one of the countries where they are not allowed, which changed our travel plans. Did you find there were any issues getting yours into croatia at all? Many thanks!

Nope your incorrect Jos. The van was not starting because the neutral to the Starter Motor and battery was completely rusted and full of crap (due to the snow from the couple of days before). I watched everything he did. A top gent and it cost like 40€. The breakdown truck was from our free European breakdown. Thank you for watching anyway! ☺👍
@@Lou_Sylw_Bulgarian_Rescue_Dogs ok then i apologize ,saw a dashcam video of a German van and they spotted a guy going in front of the van pulling some cables,the next day the same guy comes whit his tow truck
@@LifeIsGreatHeavenCanWait No worries. I can imagine this sort of thing happens. But we actually broke down on a beach in the middle of nowhere. Called the breakdown cover. They couldn't get us started or pull us out because they didn't have a 4x4, so left us on the beach for the night and was going to hire a tractor from a local farm the next day. Luckily, I had a can of Wd40 and sprayed the connectors. It wouldn't start that evening but the following morning it just about started and we called the breakdown people when we got to the nearest village. He stripped the cables out and cleaned them all and it was good to go! I was very stressed and p*ssed off, so I didn't record that side of it 😅 🤷♂️
Is that video from Croatia because I have never heard of anyone doing that in Croatia? Car repair shops are on every corner, how would that man know he was going to be called? And that man should break into that van to open the hood.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that's not possible in Croatia, I've just never heard of such a thing.
It seems to me that such an action carries a lot of risk (revocation of work licence and imprisonment) for a few hundred Kuna work. Like I said, I’ve never heard of it but nowadays anything is possible.
