Always wished they’d beef up the 3.7 in the mustang rather than give it a 4 banger and gave the v8 enough power to compete with the competition like c7 z06 vette and camaro zl1 “it’s a pony car” fuck that shit modern times requires modern powa baby

Mustang should have had the 3.5 TT like the SHO. My guess is that Ford knew a 3.5 TT in the Mustang would run numbers so close to a stock 5.0 so they never did it and opted to use the 2.3 4cyl instead.

They should have used the 3.5 in the Mustang and the Lincoln Continental Reserve. They should have put the 2.7 in the base model of the Lincoln and a V8 in the Black Label

@@ErrorsAndComputers that’s why you give the v8 more power

But the coyote is already running at its max ability. It went from low 400 hp to 485 hp now. To keep the same level of stress and reliability at a much higher power level, they'd have to re-engineer the engine, the frame, drive train, suspension, and the whole lot.
All of theis costs money which means a more expensive mustang. Ain't no car guy affordin' a pricy horse!
