Acabo de ver la pelicula de Selena en la tv, y vine para aca a buscar videos y recordar. Uno de esos recuerdos que twngo es cuando tenia 7 años, estaba terminando 3ero de primaria, no conocia tanto su musica pero mis amigas si. Aun recuerdo que en la primaria habia unos ladrillos enterrados que descubri en el patio que decian "quintanilla" por que asi se llamaba la empresa que los fabricaba y cuando les dije a mis compañeros del salon todos se emocionaron pensando que ahi estaba enterrada selena. I was thinking the exact same thing. I dug up some old cds of her and I was falling in love with her all over again. Listening to these songs that I haven't heard in over 14 years took me back, and I said to myself, man I can't wait for her next album. Then I realized that can't happen. I was so lost in the music, I forgot everything; how many years passed, and how she has been gone for so long. Kudos to her family for keeping her legacy alive. God Bless Selena and her family.

Needless to say, there were several people who didn't want me to join because they didn't want anything to happen, blah blah blah. But then again, you don't have to be in the military for something bad to happen. Selena wasn't in the military, and look what her fate was. >:( I'll always look up to her.
i've taken 5 years of spanish but you don't need to know the language to understand how loved and cherished she was by everyone. i was only 4 when she passed away. she was always there for the people she loved. if she were alive today, i'm sure she would have made such a huge difference in the way music is portrayed today.
