I like this rig looks good I do have with the gears in my front end the drive shaft pulls the pinion gear from the ring gear had to shim it. as it runs. see yours is running. are you going to Proline? Stay safe my friend
@HobbyDrop Zak, I hope I spelled that right name is Mike. I was hoping to see you there going to try to meet some of the other RUclips Crawlers I follow. Stay safe my friend
@@WandererOfTheDesert I add a c in there too. Zack. :) but it’s all good! Mike I hope you enjoy it, it would be cool to go, but it’s not in the cards this year.
I had a similar issue with my buggy. It turns out it was my mesh on my dif. As soon as the overdrive caused the driveshaft to shift then my mesh would go out, shimmed my dif and driveshaft nice and tight and had no issues since. I make sure they have grease all the time, and that's about it. I was fine at home with our granite and low traction rock, it was not until I went to moab that it happened. I'm thinking the constant traction finally caused it to rare its head. Might be worth looking at if you have not already
The binding roll on the bench is from the overdrive. Do a nose manual roll or manual roll it will be fine. This is a very typical thing from rigs with o.d.
Do you have an overdriven front axle this mystery issue could be related to ? This may introduce a mechanical stress in the transmission only when both axles are connected. Remove the overdrive, for testing... I still love your videos. Nice crawl actions and relaxing voice.😊

@@DesertRockCrawler dude that’s exactly what happens! Ok, so that kinda clears that up. Now the question is the chugging at other times 🤔
