Mad Max as a whole should be known as Nitropunk. Chaos, superchargers, 60s-70s race-inspired designs that look straight out of an Ed Roth Ratfink art piece. I’d also say Megas XLR is nitropunk as well…but less apocalypse and more Clerks.
YES! A new episode! Edit: NOOOOOOOOO superpowers wouldn't make the decade any better. Lets assume we suddenly live in a world where a biological mutation gives random people powers and lets say that 5% of the population ends up with powers. Let me tell you this now, nearly every other person would at least try and start a cult surrounding their powers.
Eh, i believe the world would go more towards a society like my hero academia. Then again there would still be the occasional cult and such as you mentioned.
would the Worm book technically count as Capepunk? Since its a deconstruction of superhero's... in the same way that a sledgehammer deconstructs a box of adorable puppies
Yes it is. It's probably one of the greatest works of capepunk imo, Ward, it's sequel is more of a reconstruction (A self contained decon/recon within the setting, its neat.)
I'm making an OC character right now for a Noir detective but I don't really know that that count as a superhero movie or something like that he has powers but I ain't going to go into that cuz I'm really personal about it

The Unprofessional fair point my brain never goes to cults.

thank you for this

Tentatively yes. I’ve only read the Wikipedia entry on worm but sounds like a capepunk story

Eating an ice cream cone from the bottom up won't get sticking if you're in the freezer.
If hypothetically, someone gave you 1,000 dollars, which punks would you immediately do?
Plaguepunk or teslapunk both are currently in the works and could use some extra budget to the production

Yeah, you can write superpowers without it being a superhero story!
A good example being: epithet erased
