Thank you for playing my suggestion! It feels like I make a difference 😃 I can just ensure you to play further, there are cool ideas until the very end and you will love world 7. I love this game so much that I 100% completed it, something which I do more or less with no other game 😅
@@Masta2Playa well, the ones I mentioned are JUMP, or Janked Up Mario Party, which uses a bunch of ASM to create some really unique level mechanics while mostly keeping to a vanilla aesthetic. They're challenging, but outside of a couple levels from the first game, it never goes full kaizo. The games teach you advanced techniques and level-specific gimmicks beforehand, there are multiple power-up and 1-up stations as you get farther in the game. Dragon Coins function similarly to Star Coins and give benefits, and if collected, are immediately counted, even if you die. There's also tons of secrets and content in general for both games. I like the sequel, JUMP 1/2, a bit better because it smoothes the difficulty curve out, but both are more than worth playing.
IIRC, the Super Mario World background comes from a NES bootleg version of the game. As for how the bootleggers got it originally, maybe it was what you said with the down-scaling.
You should try out The Guardian Legend on NES! You've probably never heard of it but it's actually at least top 5 of my all time favorite games. You can thank me later. 😅🤭
Hmm not really. The NES era was the only time Nintendo had a stranglehold on the American games market, by the time SNES came out Sega was able to split the market with their own 16-bit machine. Those early days of the NES and Gameboy are the groundwork that allowed Nintendo to become a household name. Also by your logic wouldn't that mean that the N64 is more famous and better than the Super Nintendo? So Wii U > Wii? More better and famouser? haha, think on buddy.

Mario 3 is neat, but I gotta say the crown jewel of the NES is Sunsoft's Gimmick!
nice twilight princess snowy penthouse outro music you choose there.
Also great video, I'm enjoying my christmas :)
SMB3Mix may in fact be my favorite game. Even possibly above the vanilla game.
There should be more SMB3 hacks tbh. I actually like 3 over SMW (outside of some hacks like JUMP and its sequel)
Which one? And which SMW hacks can you recommend? So far I wasnt convinced by anyone 🙈😅

@@tastethepainbow and are the Dragon coins like Star coins? One thing I dont like about SMW Hacks is that the Dragon coins are just for One Ups
@@Masta2Playa yup. They give you a great amount of benefits if you collect enough, including stuff for the post-game.

If Samus going to the fridge to get a glass of milk (gba) isnt on this marathon.....
Personally, I really think you should check out Super Mario Lovestruck Calamity! It's a pretty damn good hack and the levels are kinda diorama styled.
anything with Mario is good
i played smb3 a lot on the gameboy advance. I never beat it.
SMB3 > SMW
Man the start of this video was pretty Zoomer-fied for my tastes.
