I am late to the game, but I watched the Fall because I am in awe of Jaime and Gillian, and I am amazed of Jaime's acting chop. As a matter of fact the entire group of actors were excellent. I am a fan of the Fifty Shades trilogy, and now I understand how Jaime was cast as Christian Grey after watching the Fall.
So Jamie gets a question about his preparation of getting into his character' psyche, but Gillian gets a question of slipping into her chracter's blouse. #EverydaySexism
I concur Gillian is an excellent actor, but she is actually very similar to the character. It is as if she is playing her ‘self’. However who is her ‘self’? She now speaks with a British accent. I find that a bit disturbing.
I love Gilian, Allan and Jamie. The Fall is an excellent show.

She grew up in London and moved to the US at 11 so she became bidialectal, she naturally speaks in both accents
