my first season with newcastle (&firstfmgame in 5 years) i spent 3/4 of it in the relegation zone somehow didnt get sacked, then ended up finishing 10th, winning europa league and finishing second in fa cup. season 2, league, fa cup, and champions league winners, season 2 Miley won me everything his stats werent great but he put in 7.8+ performances in every game
That was some entertaining and reckless transfer business right there. I loved it! Haven't seen many people not negotiate as much as you did here. I usually penny-pinch for every deal, even the ones that only give larger loan wage participation for players on 200 pounds per week so this was new. But that's part of the joy of playing with clubs like Newcastle where you can just not care about things like that.
