Sorry for the small unexpected break. I will be explaining in the next video what happened over the weekend. I would love to hear from you guys what vehicles would you like to see us record next week?
The fun thing about this tank is even stuff you normally wouldn't expect to damage can be mauled just by hosing down the target. Six 50's are rather good at finding that one annoying spot where a single bullet doinks a crew member or enough spray ruins a turret ring, breaks a tread, takes out MGs, whatever. And it's *really* silly if you take it up to high enough level fights. After a point, there's so many thin-skinned vehicles that suddenly, it sits there eating SPGs and the like for breakfast.
Makes me wonder about additional damage effects that could be applied to the crew members. Imagine the auditory and psychological damage caused by the impact sounds of six fifties bullet hosing your tanks hull.
@@Treveli45 I'm pretty sure that was a legit strategy for countering tanks, along with "buttoning up", whereby a group of infantry, usually with anti-tank rifles(At that time, they would already be obsolete against the thicker tank armor of mid-latewar)/high caliber rifles, would target viewports, periscopes, and weapon sights on tanks to blind them. A blind tank, is a dead tank.
@@anotherkenlon I had a feeling it was still going on. No reason it wouldn't still be a thing. Just kinda funny thinking about a bunch of just riflemen "defeating" a tank by shooting its "eyes" out.
Finally getting to settle down and watch this, quite pleased the US finally has some new and enclosed SPAA, been desperately needing something like this.
So this underwent testing in late 1945 and was very well received and likely would have entered production, it just had two minor problems. The war was winding down and the age of the jet was arriving.
In theory, you could probably bolt an M45 Quad Mount on the top of a Locust, in a similar way to how the Yugoslavians fitted a Flakvierling 38 onto an M3 Stuart
Such an odd vehicle, but definitely an evolution from the quad half track to better keep up with tanks. Wouldn't be surprised that it didn't go into production because air threats had largely vanished at that point, or perhaps VE Day happened. Keep up the good work, Bo & Co!
Yes Sturmling, the music used for _'The Benny Hill Show'_ is _'Yakety Sax'_ by Boots Randolph. _:Yakety Yak'_ is an entirely different song done by The Coasters.
This one is a pretty good AA in terms of if you shoot more, you have better chances to hit something, but yeah, good against planes, but if you see a tank, you are (in most cases) nothing more than a laser pointer for your teammates. You can point to enemies or try to blind them
Holy crap I'm never this early. Just wanted to say thanks for the content Bo. I'm a long time fan, rare commenter and your videos have helped in some dark places over the years. So thanks man and don't forget to take care of yourself. You help many in different ways and I'm sure they all want to make sure you are good too.
If you could do a video on the British swingfire that would be awesome I see videos of people moving the periscope thing and I can’t figure out how to get it to extend
The T77E1 has quickly become one of the AA's of all time. It's fun against planes but useless against most tanks. Now I want the MIM-46 Mauler and the T249 Vigilante and MAYBE the Avenger but that'll be similar to the Japanese AA hummer thing
A Heyo Bo hope you’re having a good day, week. Your hard work is much appreciated and keep up the great work :D. And to the friends of Bo, much appreciation from my side for helping Bo produce content and being great friends. I earned that AA not to long ago And lemme just say, it’s pretty good, only problem is that since it’s just 50. cals, survivability after all enemy air has been shot down is low
the t77e1 is one awsome spaa . good mobility and good fire power for ground attack it suck but everything in the sky will be shred pretty easy . i go more kill whit that spaa than any in the us tree yet 50 cal are so easy to use they have fast bullet speed make it easy to hit plane and hight rate of fire to sature an area even stock my first game i did 5 plane kill
i really want to know how the snail thinks that thing could have belts that holds over 1000 rounds of 50 cal ammo each. after a tiny amount of google i found someone stay that " A 27 foot belt of .50 BMG would be 351 rounds" "The 240-round belt used on the outboard guns on each side was 18 feet 6 inches long altogether" so i would love to see how in the hell they stack the ammo inside this thing.
Sorry for the small unexpected break. I will be explaining in the next video what happened over the weekend. I would love to hear from you guys what vehicles would you like to see us record next week?
Bo, I would love it if you would play the f2h-2. It's a jet i just recently got and it is amazing in my opinion. Could you please play it?
I'd like to see you guys play the cheese wedges for Sweden or the t55e1 if you haven't done that to recently
The Churchill hill 7 is so annoying to go against, if there were several of them it make for a good video
Squad of four short-barrel H35s
I would love to see a video on the Matilda iii or the StuH 42 H. thanks!
Those domes on top seem like they'd be really cool to sit in during a wild thunderstorm or blizzard. Would happily use as a cross-country RV.
"its not my problem, till its my problem" is about correct for AA
I like how Bo constructs an ammo crate, when he still has over 6200 rounds left and then doesnt even use it after dropping it.
Most of the time he doesn’t live long enough to need it anyway
I do this very thing all the time 😂
That is so the Fifty Cal Forest can grow for the next generation. (I was actually just bored waiting for something to happen and was playing with it)
I was laughing at this moment as well!
If the box isn't on the ground it can't explode. I for one support increasing the chance of explode.
Bo has officially saved my flight.
Today on BTG: Sturmling's AI plays the wrong game, Stickboy's trauma becomes too real and Bo's orbs get pondered.

T77E1 is a danger toad.
Can confirm it is toad certified
The thing looks like a frog, with the cupolas being the eyes.
This unprecedented, Sturmling isn't playing the Soviets like he does in every video he's in
He loves 3.7 Sweden! That is one of his go to event vehicle line ups.
I love the little bubbles and how attracted the T34s became
Mesmerized 😍
Finally getting to settle down and watch this, quite pleased the US finally has some new and enclosed SPAA, been desperately needing something like this.
"Pondering the Orbs" zounds like it could be a Swiss symphonic metal band. Or a sequel to Romancing the Stone
I think it's a reference to the show The Venture Bros.?
So this underwent testing in late 1945 and was very well received and likely would have entered production, it just had two minor problems.
The war was winding down and the age of the jet was arriving.
Now we wait and see if the XM246 (One of the designs competing alongside what would become the M247 Sgt. York) ever comes to War Thunder.
T249 would like to speak to you
Both of those would be cool.
@@J_v7101The Vigilante would be welcome as well.
4:44 They wonder, who are those two bald twins, sticking their heads up behind that rock? 🤣 🤣
Awesome awesome video, Bo and crew. Y'all have just amazing chemistry and have been knocking it out of the park lately

Good lord
9:20 😂sticks head goes thunk on desk dont know why i laughed so hard at that
This round is sponsored by the word trauma 😂😂😂😂
I love how good the view of sturms getting swarmed was in the last game
T77 is a very welcome addition to the tech tree. Shame nobody thought of making an un-MGable AA vehicle
Lots of good lead belching with this AA, great video Bo!

Hi Bo. I love watching your videos and on this fine day is my birthday and I am watching your older videos to have a good laugh.
Two words that Sturmling says in literally every video: "Hurray!" and "Wow."

I ponder the orbs too sometimes
I like how the damage model is good enough that one dome can be shattered with the frame mangled and the other remains intact. 🙂
I love that froggy looking spaa. But not as much as I loved this video!! Welcome back!
2:30 This vehicle makes me miss the days of the Wirble-Win having like 68mm pen, was the best Tank Destroyer for its tier.
This is such a goofy little vehicle and I really didn't expect it to do so well! Those .50s really tear planes apart
I initially thought we could hear someone's pet snoring, then i realized that it was the engine of your vehicle.
Proud to say I took part in the round sponsored by trauma. I was Lynx24 :)
20:25 nice, If there were no killcam, it could be interesting in such places, but this is just my opinion, one of many people
The greenhouse of death, sounds like a horror movie
Don't know why but I love that thing. Great video
Panzer IVs have 30mm of side (and i think rear is thinner) armor, just about thin enough this thing can get through at point blank with no angle.
The mincer, both for air and ground, very convenient
great video Bo, loved it
