2021 Chevy Blazer RS 3.6 V6 oil change

In this video, I show how to perform an oil change in a 2021 Chevrolet Blazer RS model with the 3.6l V6 engine. It's a pretty straightforward process with easy access to everything. This engine takes 6 quarts of 5w-30 synthetic oil that's Dexos1 approved. I chose Mobil1 advanced synthetic 5w-30 oil along with a mobil1 brand oil filter (M1-212A). The OEM filter is ACDelco (UPF63R).

Well done.. I've seen videos on here where they make a video but they don't really know how to do it correctly. Like not priming the filter, or making the job way more complicated then it needs to be.. torque wrenches, break cleaner to wipe stuff off rather then a simple rag wipe, or adding oil, starting it, pressure's up.. then shut it off, add oil, then have to restart even though it won't change the level, and they certainly wouldn't leave the hood open even moving 5' back and forth. Their so careful with everything I can't take it!! :) your video is like how I would do it... BTW nice 928S or S4 There

So far so good. The ride is very smooth and it has plenty of power.

I agree with the plenty of power, it’s quite peppy for a 3.6! There is a known problem with the thermostat and/or the coolant temp sensor that is a PAIN IN THE ARSE to get to! You literally have to tear down to the intake to get the thing out!
