There's speculation going on that hints at SEGA may be remaking Sonic Heroes, so hopefully the remake turns out to be great and maybe take some inspiration from Sonic World/DX where teammates have a wide variety of moves and abilities and let us make custom teams.

Yeah basically this but with insanely good graphics, since its rumored to be made in Unreal Engine 5.
waaaaaaaaiiiiiiiit a minute , they ported other sonic heroes stages to sonic world dx, YYYYYYYYES, more stages being ported and we'll eventually have nearly all of them

if they were to make a Remake to Sonic Heroes they should Atleast add these Four Teams:
Team Sol: Blaze The Cat, Silver The Hedgehog and Gemerl,
Team Oldies: Mighty The Armadillo, Ray The Flying Squirrel, and Tiara The Manx
Team Babylon: Jet The Hawk, Wave The Swallow, and Storm The Albatross
and Team Robotnik: Metal Sonic, Tails Doll, and Metal Knuckles
