Hey, Phil, if you are going to see some of the sights, here are a few places I recommended, The Franklin Institute, Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences, the Please Touch Museum, and if you want to see the really strange stuff go to the Mütter Museum.

My dad once made orange glazed duck for Christmas dinner that was really good even if the orange glaze was a bit over-powering (his first time making it) but yeah. If cooked right duck can be good. I suggest trying it some time.
