A few things:
1. For those of you that are saying random insults or things like that on this video. At least watch the video before commenting, because 99% of your insults are answered by me in the video.....
2. I love this game, and I will keep playing it. But, I would be crazy to not want to use my voice and platform to try and make the game better for everyone.
3. I understand bans existing, and Dev wipes being a thing..... But, I think we can all agree that the Code of Conduct needs to be cleaned up, and actual consequences need to be defined instead of each person getting different treatment depending on how that one admin feels that day.....
4. Yes, I did submit 2 ban appeals. Both of them got cookie cutter responses of "Our ban team does extensive research to make sure bans are correct"..... To me this does not seem like a reasonable response to me asking a reason and information on why.....
Everyone who bought ASA has one reason they go back to playing ASE. Their computers graphics card cant run the game smooth even on low. Most of them have 1060 or 1080 nvidia's. So now you have to fork out $500 for new graphics card to play the game which runs fine with all the servers and mods working on ASE. i can see why ASA has low player numbers.
@@jacooosthuizen3593 Also add in the Devs who ban content creators and player tribes on PVP because they get their butts kicked.. That's a HUGE reason why a lot of players decided not to buy ASA. Dev trust is very low.
@@jacooosthuizen3593 an option is a he GeForceNow service. I run a 4080 super but also run GeForceNow in the background. I use it as a clicker, to feed tames while I play elsewhere, and several other uses. But the service is very good. And it will run on anything with a decent network connection

If admins are selling stuff for real money they should be fired, period.
They do this in every game. It used to be really bad in fallout 76 when legacies was a thing

i agree 100%.. they dont allow players to do it wihch leads to global banning, but they are allowed.. kind of feels like a liberal party
They are wish I had my old discord that got banned because I was calling them out on their discord. I had plenty of messages between me and devs. I was buying 296 tek rifles and dinos. My buddy recently bought a dupe glitch from a dev.
Anyone selling stuff on eBay is part of wild card or snail games. It would take as little as an hour for a dev to go to eBay and ban tribes for selling tames/items.
the concept of "pocket Devs" is not new, i got globally banned for built a Brood Mother chitin farm box, that was way back when the game just released, the thing is one guy in the group was helping me built that farm box ( with metal since boss can destroy stone) didnt like how i telling ppl do not build on the top of volcano top since back in the day that was the best spot for metal. The next day a random dev show up without warning just ban me and dev wipe my base, then when i got back on with a different account that guy bragging about his best friend is dev so he got me ban without any effort. Stop playing official since, i like you Teach, i love this game that's why i still playing on private server for years (close to 13k hours). Ark is fun but anything related to it (Devs and Publisher) are trash.
i remember that, island was so different back then, luckily my server was chill one of the bigger tribes had the volcano pillared and on the edge they had a forge set up n would pin it and let me use it all the time XD
Do a series on investigating and exposing the devs. You’d get more people to watch that stuff.

I don't think it was because they couldn't raid your base. You mentioned it and I'm not sure you put the pieces together. It is very common to sell base locations in spots just like this. How much you want to bet a Dev decided they wanted to sell your spot. Ban you, someone who is not currently paying for the spot, and then turn around and sell it. All the other ppl on other serves wouldn't surprise me if most of them bought that spot.
I would hope that is not what happened.... I would have to look at that base spot to know.
@@TeachersGameTooSo, while I’m a fairly new player on ASE with only the Island and Crystal Isles done and partway through Scorched Earth, I don’t think you did anything wrong. I think they should have just left a note in your base telling you to pack your stuff and get out within 48 hours, then dev wipe anything you left behind (if any), seal the rathole and issue you a warning not to use a rathole with access to the mesh again. That’s it.
You’re innocent until proven guilty right? You didn’t build into the mesh and they had no proof that you went into the mesh. So I don’t blame you for reacting this way. I would be just as upset and I would be livid.
Anyway, you mentioned that you bought a second account right? You could probably make a RUclips series investigating these stories and claims of devs selling creatures using that account to help collect the evidence. You’ve already spent the money so you might as well put it to good use.
As a new player I was shocked to learn of this despicable behaviour by the Devs and Publisher. I had no idea that Devs/Admins were making real money by selling Dinos and resources using Facebook ect. From solo mode I know how easy it is for a corrupt Dev using the gfi and gmsummon commands. Since my game in solo player tends to crash when I log, I’m a big fan of “admincheat saveworld.”
This is why devs should NEVER play their game.
The temptation is way to great, you ban was most likely a pocket dev.

As a new player I’m so surprised that the Devs engage in this kind of behaviour. Though I’m a PvE player I’m glad I’m far beyond their reach playing ASE in solo mode mostly with another character on an unofficial server.
@@wylde780 The devs don't need to play public Multiplayer, that is just asking for corruption or at the very least breaks immersion. If they want to play their own servers, they should create ones specifically for devs or testing.
The easiest Solution is to make a 100% done Map without massive mash Holes, teleport walls. They are so many Exploits and glitches since ASE they are still alive and copied over to ASA.
Real reason is the devs puts some glitches for them to abuse it later, but when they find players do it they get offended 😂,

I actually owe Teach a thanks. I was a very new ASE player who had just snagged my first Artifact-the Hunter-when the world/screen lurched and suddenly I was out of the cave in the middle of the jungle at night without my raptor pack that had been escorting me. It was a hairy experience getting out of the jungle to a familiar location and getting back to camp.
I went back and rescued my raptors rather than leaving them in the cave but I’ve been confused about it ever since. I had no idea “teleport wall” glitches existed. At the time I thought it was just what happened shortly after you grabbed an Artifact, then after it didn’t happen again with the next two, I just sort of shrugged and left it as a mystery, almost forgotten until today.
Now I finally understand what happened.
I worked as Gamemaster at Blizzard in the past. There we had very strict rules what we could do and a team looking into all admin level activity on the live servers. No one was allowed to use any special powers in the game. Any abuse of those powers would be reason for instant dismissal. Simple as that.
That’s the way it should be with all online games. I’ve got nothing against Devs and staff playing the game but they obviously need to be monitored and punished for any abuses of power.
I think that’s done in FF11 and FF14. I’ve had no contact with GMs in FF14 and in 11 it amounted to seeing one of our exp party disappearing once and just before he was disbanded from the party I spotted his location being “mordion”- the jail where characters were kept while the players were banned. I wish I’d taken a screenshot but I was too surprised to do it. No explanation for it. He was just gone.
The other time was actually evidence of them doing things right. A new expansion had just been released and the main city got a bit overloaded. Naively I said “Hahaha I’m a bit stuck” in open chat, hoping to pass the time by chatting. Next thing I knew a GM spoke to me in private chat asking me about being stuck.
Fortunately I quickly realised that the GM was asking me if I’d become stuck on the terrain so of course I had to apologise and clarify that I was only “stuck” due to lagging because there were so many people around me. S/he was nice about it though, saying “no problem” and wishing me a good day.
The rules you had to abide by, and my experience with the FF GMs are what I would expect from any staff member playing the game made/published by the company they work for-at least while playing on their official “developer account. Needless to say it’s a bit of a shock learning how these Devs are behaving.
It makes Wildcard and Snail look really unprofessional.
the gms causing the issue are employees of parent company snail who have been given special acess rather than wc devs.
@@Azmeaiel Fair enough. As a layperson I usually use the term “Dev” as a catch-all term for most staff. And honestly I lumped WC and Snail together because I lack the knowledge to distinguish between them.
I think I got my point across though. If they represent any part of the staff then they should be professional and non-abusive.
@@mikoto7693 yeh, its a complicated situation, but also why these 'devs' are pretty much untouchable by wildcard itself. they are employees of the publisher essentially using their priveledge of owning wildcard as personal gain. They cant be fired because their not employed by Wildcard and its fairly obvious this behavior is endorsed for a privileged few by snail itself.
I was a volunteer GM on EQ. We had a GM account and a personal account. If we EVER made a char on GM account insta perma ban. Not allowed to ever play on same severs, make a guild etc etc. Every moment we were online was monitored. Become way too much of a job and quit after about 6 months.
Every person in a rat hole is risking the ban hammer. If you can be banned anyone can.
Block the dang holes if you don't like players in them.
Rat holes are needed for single players but the devs don't want you by yourself so you are forced to join a mega. Then get inside by a dev so they can sell your hard work.
@@TravisTheSavageI don’t understand why they would need to sell anyone’s hard work. They can literally use gmsummon and gfi commands to spawn in whatever creature or resource they want. If I were a crooked Dev that’s how I’d do it. Spawn a crapload of resources and sell using gfi.
I haven’t worked out how to induce mutations yet. I can use gmsummon to spawn a creature of any level in solo mode but not mutations. But a Dev would know. I used a throwaway character on The Centre solo mode map to mess around with the admin commands. The idea GMs are making real money from typing in a few sentences is mind boggling.
North Ice has a mesh hole, sounds like They should be dev wiping every tribe out of North Ice.
bro the same thing happened to me on conquest... I was built in a rathole on center as well and went to bed woke up to find my base being onlined. After about 3 hours of them tryna raid me, they left and I thought nothing of it, until I got banned in the middle of a metal run. Come to find out the devs have a base on the floating island right above ours.

imo, rules about mesh and stuff like that shouldn't even have to exist, it's the dev's responsibility to make a game that runs right... aka without them
Its a video game… they are gonna make mistakes and the players are gonna find holes in the mesh… just because the ark devs arent god doesn’t mean everyone should cheat and exploit
Yep if someone destroys your base from the mesh the devs should have to rebuild it and fix the exploit.
@@TravisTheSavage Heh, rebuilding it is going a bit far, IMO, but prevent people from accessing that area again.
Developers are inevitably going to make mistakes. What made me comment was that WC have clearly taken development shortcuts. And instead of taking responsibility to eventually fix said shortcuts, they choose to implement these arbitrary rules, thereby DEFERRING the responsibility to the player. Yes, there are always those who "push the bounds" of any game or just plain cheat, but I'm not even talking about those people; in ASA, a normal player can easily break their vague and contradictory guidelines through "intended" or natural gameplay. Their guidelines seem to exist to protect themselves and only themselves which creates an unhealthy, one-sided relationship with the player base. One rule is about tames clipping into each other? heck, that happens to my tames all the time which is always annoying and never helpful to me, and I only play single player. I'm like Teach here, I want to enjoy the game. I really do, but it has many glaring core game-development issues.

Look at the numbers in ASA PVP servers. They are dead, people can't trust the company and they refuse to fix what needs to be fixed. They treat PVP and PVE as the same and that itself causes nothing but issues.

As a former Ark Server owner and admin..
- they spanwed in the saddle and the steggie
- they used it when it died to go through the log to identify you and your tribe
The crook and grub Chinese publishers were so bad on the old official servers for cheating, hacking and misusing their GM accounts they were given their own cluster of servers!! Thus 'conquest' came to exist and Tea dominated them!!
I suspected the same thing when watching the video. From single player mode I’m familiar with the gfi and gmsummon commands-though only because my game tends to crash in single player when I log out. One day I was so frustrated from losing 20 minutes of resource gathering I used gfi to regain what I lost from the crash.
The other was because I’d been given an Ember Crystal Wyvern by my tribe and couldn’t go back to just flying Argys around the Island after experiencing that so I used gmsummon to spawn myself one in single player.
Then I discovered “admincheat saveworld” and my problems were solved. By using it and waiting a few seconds before logging out, it no longer matters if it logs out normally or crashes.
The devs and enforcement are a bunch of clowns. I don't think I was ever able to get a GM to deal with any of my reports properly since ASE until now in ASA. So many hoops to jump through. Even after multiple people report someone for griefing, hacking, exploiting, etc either nothing is done, or you have to wait weeks on end for anything to happen. Or they slap you with the classic "We are not offering support for that issue during early access, blah blah blah" What a bunch of BS.
Not just enforcement. I dunno if Dollie is an actual dev or not, (we all know she got her job by sucking her way to the top) but she’s the biggest fucking snowflake there is and she’s in charge. I got banned for calling someone “special”. She called it ableism. I didn’t make fun of anyone for a disability, I literally said “wow you really are special” and BOOM! Banned.
I was part of keetowah, a big alliance in survival evolved, we had a dev show up on one of our servers once. A guy shot him one time, he wiped the entire base on the server and banned like 7 people…
Main thing you’re leaving out is that your tribe was responsible for meshing multiple servers with proof, clown.
This is why I never play on official servers on pve. Community servers only. Never had issues in official or unofficial but the game is plagued with issues and it’s not worth dealing with the bs.

Just my opinion but I don’t think you should deprive yourself of enjoying a game you love just because of the Devs. You could play solo mode or find a suitable unofficial server like I do on ASE. Especially on ASE, you have all the maps and can play until your heart is content, far beyond the reach of the Devs and not benefitting them with money or player count.
To be honest, a part of me *likes* the thought of playing a great game that in no way benefits the scummy developers. They would want me to buy ASA once I get a PS5 in a few years, but I’m probably going to stay right in ASE. I’m a fairly new player on Scorched Earth having only completed the Island and Crystal Isle. I have plenty to keep busy.
I love this game, but because of so much bull that happens, I play solo.

I had no idea this kind of stuff happened until I stumbled across this channel recently. It makes me profoundly glad I’m on ASE with one character on an unofficial server and one much more heavily used solo mode character. I’m far from the reach of the Devs-one of the players they abandoned even before I discovered Ark. I’m still saving up for a PS5 so I literally have no clue than to use ASE.

Its absolutely insane that you dropped this vid, im currently on small tribes 9091 and there was always somone online and everytime they would be online they would post a message like “ hey survivors are you tired of grinding and want slot caps of loot” so i took snapshots and when i told them i was reporting i got my cave raided and i have no idea how they even did it but now im worried it might be a dev and i might get dev wiped :/ i absolutely love this game but hate the cheating and constant teaming constant issues that it seems like wildcards causing and letting happen
I've never had a positive admin experience in Ark.
problem is, the stegos was from admins, trying to see if turrets shoot through the mesh and they prob did

Yes, ban was too much! I got a warning on ase when my bee tame trap was perceived as clipping. I wasn't trying to clip and didn't try that trap again. Warnings are a real thing. There are several ways they could handle that better. Happy Ark day! Waiting for Aberration!

I live in the shadows. A solo tribe with a massive base, but just stay out of the lime light and watch the drama around me. Its terrifying and interesting at the same time. Kinda like prison.

This was happening before ASA launched and ASE closed. These are the exact reasons I will not purchase ASA and have not played ASE since it closed. It's sad really. It was one of my favorite games. It takes this kind of commitment to show that we will not tolerate the stuff we have been going through. And playing on Conquest servers is just beyond me especially after everything we already know about the "tribes" there.
I gave up on official years ago as Ark Devs are clearly corrupt, and the devs don't care, and have their favorites. It's a real shame how good this could really be if they would have just fixed the small things like mesh holes and had an enforced code of conduct for both players AND admin/devs with the strike principle. Something has to be done to correct this ship before it crashes even worse.

This has been a problem since ark survival evolved! Nothing will ever get done about the cheating players and devs.
Me and my son are playing on unofficial we have mods and we are playing on Forglar and we have the dragon mod on it to make it more interesting along with the griffins, but we value your videos that teach us stuff even though we’re not on “” official servers“ but like I said, they should do something to get you back and if you want to come over to our map anytime you’re welcome

I agree with all you say. Funcom, Conan exiles went around banning peeps for vague rules. These games should have better worded coc.
There is to much money spent on this. They can block these places and forbid building.
They wont ever have over watch for the devs. Just stay off official.
The people in power, don't want to be fair. They are benefiting from this. If someone tries to stand up and changes things, they will be replaced by someone willing to be complicit. I think that's why the world is so crazy right now.

Played this game back in Beta. As in from before the swamp was even in the game. Met the devs and the admins on our server, multiple times.
The game now, is nearly dead, compared to even early Beta. You used to see campfires and noob homes everywhere. Now if i see a home its quite obviously poorly scripted AI or someone with admin rights. The amount of time needed to harvest the resources in some of these builds is astronomical. And i was there before they were built, and no one flew or drove in a heavy tame with all the resources to build it.
And the server numbers are extremely suspect at all times. Willing to put good money down that they are bots/scripts or just fabricated server numbers. I can fly a pteradon all over a supposedly busy server, and not see a single player or even a single non-destroyed building!
Then, I constantly run into tames with ascendant saddles. Everywhere... The GMs/admins/whatever dont give rip about giving the extremely few players even a chance. They equip up in 100% ascendant gear (with console commands) and just wipe you. That's not PvP. It's actually quite boring when you can't even fight back. They are bascially just pressing the reset button on you.
The entire thing looks like MLM scam now. The exceptionally few REAL players are just trolled by far greater majority GM/ADMIN class of people online, followed shortly by the streamer/blogger/tuber people. And now it sounds like the GMs are extracting cash from the streamers by forcing them to rebuy the game. CLASSIC MLM! You are part of the system, but give us more money now!
It really is a great game. But its reached the point where its just the GMs playing against Streamers. That doesn't generate "real" revenue from society. At that point you are just relying on producers and marketing companies to bank roll what's going on.
Just like "cash for clicks" on websites, eventually the investors in this will "wise up" and withdraw funding. It's only a matter of time.
again im so glad that the devs selling things in game has finally come to light if only a little through this channel. I found outt about this about 5 years ago or more now and when i raised it with some big youtubers i was laughed out the chat and verbally abused haha. its a fact it happend and probably still is so im not shocked at all that you say people have also come forward to tell you this.
Guys this is happening everywhere, the problem is in nowadays some “people” can’t take criticism so they just overreact, and in the devs industry there is a lot of this people who are too spoiled to get with criticism and they just ban people in order to make them happy!

Enemy tribe mesh our cave, we wrote a lot of tickets, but nothing , and after in 1-2 days we get banned WOW nice admins
I thought that on official servers if you went through the mesh areas you were automatically killed? That's been my experience at least when playing single player on my own server using default settings. I agree with you that it's all very suspect, dirty devs with hurt feelings about not being able to beat someone fairly. I'm not surprised that player numbers are low, if they keep banning regular players who play fairly then they can expect that person and their friends to not play anymore.
Yeah, that was the case, mesh was instant kill when you touch it for some time, but it was patched, since there were too many instances where "mesh border" would be in the normal playable parts of the map, and players would get mesh killed even when they were not in the mesh. One example is the Lava cave on the Island, I died so many times to the anti mesh while walking around the first corner of the cave, where lava could be seen for the first time. Not to mention parts of my base getting destroyed by anti mesh on the Island in the past, while all structures were built above the ground. Early Ark ASA was such a mess... At least we don't have x1.5 rates any more xD xD
You were built in meshing to how they consider it. What's crazy is how fast they got you lol cuz they do take forever to reply to a ticket so it was an admin who raided you and tried to make it legit. It was just a matter of time before this happened not surprising

I quit playing pvp years ago because of this same issue, watched several friends get banned for similar reasons and even one that only played pve for calling out one of the devs for selling things

Ark needs to be arked now
A lot within the game community complain about the monthly subscription of World of Warcraft. However with the exception of a few incidents. Their system in regards to anti-cheat, GM & tickets is in general a very solid system.
The rumors is that Blizzard is working on their own survival game. I hope it will be good. Wildcard promises a lot but delivers very little.
Thanks for everything you do Teach, you’ve helped me in many ways with this game and I enjoy it a lot more after watching your videos. It’s terrible for this to happen to you or anyone in that matter and not be told exactly why they reacted the way they did. If you’re gonna ban someone at least give them some closure as to why so if they choose to return under a new account they know not to do it again.
That's karma for you teach - for screwing up so many things for other players (ratholes, visual fixes etc) just so you can get clicks/follows. Deserved 100%.
I use to put a ton of hours into ark online but when asa came out I heard about all this and swore I would never play official again until ark does something about it
People pretend like this stuff didnt even happen, when ASA came out the whole conquest controversy was completely forgotten. The devs are blatant about their cheating. This is why everyone hates Wildcard and Snail. It's not that hard to maintain professionalism as a company, them not firing these people speaks volumes on their companies and the individuals who run them.
But its not the community we need to convince of their untrustworthiness (we already know), it's the shareholders.
I dislike the phrase unraidable. Most of the time it's not even appropriate. Almost anything can be raided. It's just that the cost might not be worth the price.

Yeah have seen some devs even sell admin accounts on official, they usually get found out 1 to 2 hrs after the account gets purchased but 1 to 2 hours is a lot of time to cause a lot of damage (such as admin filling tek dedis and then transferring off) or dev wiping bases (can be rolled back but also cause major issues within a tribe if you claim something like duping or aimbotting) or even banning players game is fucking cooked
What's always been a mystery is how they'll ban people for that spots like that, but yet that spot will be there for another year. I'm not a game developer but i doubt it would take much time or resources to just plop another chunk of mesh over that entire spot, even hopping to every server and area destroying the stuff in it. The biggest problem with these spots is even more built to tribes have no choice but to build these spots to stop other tribes from fobbing up out of these spots. Want to dig into something else? Whenever a dupe gets fixed, there is one person who is never affected, a person names serial. That guy has had permanent access to duping, ive seen him come to a server, he can fly ingame with his character like an admin and he can transfer multiple caps back to back without waiting on a timer. Many think hes an admin.
I stopped playing about 6 weeks ago when I realized the game is NEVER going to be "fixed" and it will NEVER not be toxic on public servers lol
The admins also entered the server for me and deleted stuff for no reason, which has never happened in the 10 years I've been playing Ark
People who get banned for no good reason should refund the game and if they can't just sue, if enough people have been banned for no good reason they make it a class action lawsuit.
If the devs want to prove their against this they need to set up deals to buy stuff and ban everyone they meet up with.
It is high time the community bans together, lawyers up and takes these devs to court for doing what they are doing.
Even building before the mesh is still mesh lol. If your getting attacked you can come out of mesh and attack from behind. Pretty much a tp that you can't raid. Any veteran should know spots like this are not intended, and wasn't purposely created by the devs. Devs should fix their game first instead of banning people but don't, rather adding more breaking things into the game
And for him getting banned, I could go to any server, put in a ticket for this spot and the tribe will be wipes
I know of a hole on The Centre that gives mesh access to the entire map. They need to fix there game and stop being greedy bastards.
Yeah these devs are bad.. This is so sad this happens to such a great game.. Hopefully Microsoft or someone buys them out and fires them all seriously..
#1. Unleveled Steggo...I have only seen that used when admin spawn. #2. Perfect 124 master craft saddle...not gonna happen. #3. Ratholes are Not in the mesh, if devs do not want them in the game they need to remove them from the game period. This was clearly another dirty ban! Cheaters and Cheating Devs most of all are the reason why this game stays small!
The level of petty I would have done reporting all those people built in the same spot. 😂 Seriously though the best piece of advice I can give anyone who plays Ark. Stay off official. There's a lot of dev's that seem to have a "do what I say, not as I do" attitude.
Worst case should of been a temp ban. There's an argument while you weren't built in the mesh that you didn't use it but as a first time offense warning and maybe a temp suspension
I love this game been playing for 10 years and will continue to play but I have no plans to ever play OFfical servers ever again because of this problem
This sort of thing has been going on since the beginning of ASE. The fact is devs make money on the side, and we as a community let them by continuing to play official! I honestly dont know how they would pay their bills otherwise. I've seen it happen on ASE Abb. I quit playing official that day. Keep making awesome content despite the crappy devs!
Wildcard admins Call telling them about child preds that are in game naming and shaming
i got banned on their official Ark Discord because i told them maybe fix their DLC and the problems that come up every update they push out. Things gotten worse sense Server open. Things turned VERY bad just after summer bash released. Now the game i love almost seems unplayable. I get kicked from game constantly to where i cant leave base unless i have a tribe member with me. The amount of times People killing of Ress spawns or blocking caves is not address. Now they are saying their Reporting Center is Closed. SO many problems that it seems like they no longer care about its player base and it shows
Only way the BS will finally stop is multiple high profile users consistently reporting on the BS. Even then, there's just too many players that play no matter what for Wildcard/Snail to care about changing for the better.
In the last 8 years, do you know how many times I've heard this exact story? They don't care. Their culture is rotten to the core.

If building in rat holes like you did isn't allowed, then WHY aren't they fixing them? Yeah, they might have said that they won't but what is the reason behind it? Why keep something in a game that isn't allowed? I don't get that part.
Also.. LOVE your videos! I agree with you, they should rewrite their rules to make them way more clear as to what is allowed and what isn't and add a warning system to make it clear whenever one is doing something that is against the rules. AND fix those rat holes that isn't allowed to be built in...
To be fair your rat hole Had a connection to under the map I will agree with you a warning would have been better and a base wipe but I've noticed the dev team having a No Nonsense policy now It has always been risky building in rat holes
They did this to me on ASE. Instead of patching the hole and wiping the base, it's insta-ban.

Back when Gen1 dropped me and my official tribe had an OP rat hole, our tribe log suddenly got a warning by a dev AND said Dev appeared on the server talking in global both messages giving us a 12 hour warning to pack up and leave that spot. We did and next patch it was blocked off fully. Thats how it should be if they want to fix exploits and such. HOWEVER. We later found a huge Tek base of duped stuff in that old spot after we had a pocket mesher buddy search our server for squatters. Same spot same server, the tribe members he could spyglass max level, and Dedis full of duped loot structures. this was a week after the patch....
You underestimate how much the devs are making off whales. I know one. He manages to buy above top line tusos. He’s paid 700usd for an oasis cave.
The need to keep fragile whales happy so they spend on their addiction is amazingly lucrative.
I’d say some probably make less from their day job.
unofficial is where its at man. This type of stuff happened on me on Conan Exiles. its a trend, I am sure DayZ is no different.
Hey teach I’ve had similar situations happen multiple times. One instance where I logged in to find myself being raided, killed the Raiders killed their animals and took their loot from other raids as well as the gear they brought to raid with ran it off into one of the crevices on scorch earth and popcorned it The next day I was banned I’ve never built in a mesh spot or a rat hole primarily because I quit playing official servers before rat holes became a big thing and that was primarily because of other players, a constant rule of gaming is if you give them the authority to do whatever they want without consequence they will I don’t think the devs care enough about the game. They just care about the money and I get it it’s a business, but between trying to fund a car company with the proceeds from the game that failed by the way, multiple instances of embezzlement, as well as just the toxic nature of people this game was doomed to fail, regardless of how good the graphics gameplay and mechanics are I personally am a batterers intervention therapist so I deal with people like this on day-to-day basis the only recourse that I have found effective is ample consequence be it good or bad unfortunately, in my personal experience bad is the only one that really sticks

For the longest time Easy Underwater had huge mesh holes you access the mesh.
People are somehow gaining access to game admin accounts and selling them on those discord seevers you are talking about (got sceeenshots of it as proof) Another issue with wildcard yet unrelated is their ticket system doesnt work, depending on the ticmet type you will / wont get a response (the character replacent ticket system has been down since transfers opened with an automatic email saying "our support system isnt working at the moment" (rip lvl 154 character)

You can say what you want or show proof, they don't care. They have a bottom line and that's all that matters to them. Unless we as a community get together and it makes an impact on their bottom line, then maybe they will do something about it. These devs know what they can get away with and they take advantage of their power. There's a reason they leave a gray area to protect their devs and they hang out in that gray area all day long.
Devs should not be able to play on public servers. It is completely unethical. Shame on ARK for even allowing it.

It’s not just on official. It’s on modded/unofficial servers as well. Owners of that server are making it a rule saying they will ban you for doing so. They say it causes lag and such on the server which sure I get but still.
The community rejects paid content, so the devs sell assets to idiot players for money. This is the sort of nonsense that kills games and why I don't have this installed anymore. It's pretty obvious that Ark has become a cash grab no matter how you look at it.
I used to play on ASE i wish i still had the recording but my tribe was approached by a kid (they was maybe late teens) that said their dad was a dev and offered to sell us dinos when we refused we was wiped and banned.

Obviously the Banning is working in their favour if people are just going and buying the game again. They lost me when they shut down Evolved official servers. Which was a cash grab in my opinion, and the fact that all the old problems are still going on proves it to me. I see way a lot of my friends have bent the knee and bought Ascended, it looks amazing but anit nothiin changed! It wouldn't surprise me to find out that they are going back in to Evolved and making it spawn less dino;s and all sorts. Tbh teach you know they don't trust you not to go in mesh if you're base has the ability to. So just don't build in rathole that can get you in the mesh period

Teach i feel like your definitely not in the wrong here, I get you trying to use your voice to try to clean up the game but the reality is that greedy people who have power wont change. I dont think there is any pressure we could put on them to change, cut your losses and just enjoy the private servers. No point getting upset about jerks, keep up the amazing content
