I am 60 years old (sigh), and this is the best new pop/rock song I have heard in a long, long time. I also like their style. No need to be flashy or gimmicky, just PLAY.
Donald Joy , 58 here. An old school DJ at heart. When I first heard this it took me back to something from the late 70’s, a little bit of Sweet meets the Knack, maybe? I just love it!

Real. Fall 2019 was my favorite time period ever. Junior in hs and just started hanging out with my friends n doin drugs n shi. We used to jam this song all the time, late 2019 was the bomb man
It's a funny thing music. Everyone thinks that their taste is the "best" or they are more "cultured" in the realm of music, but really if you like something and it makes your heart-rate climb a little, or puts a smile on your face it's all done. The musician('s) have done their job. Music is so awesome.
Absolutely. I lose myself in jazz theory and tend to analize the fuck outa almost everything i hear but at the end of the day i still have justin bieber in the same spotify "liked songs" playlist as i do artists like jacob collier or mathy stuff like chon. if you like it you like it. i still enjoy passively listening to music. being "more cultured" can lead to elitism, but it can also lead to understanding. I’m 53 having grown up with 70’s-80’s rock and 90’s Alt in my 20’s. This song has a nice throw-back groove. Love the harmonizing guitars. I wish there were more new songs like this. Heard it on Alt Nation. Good day.
This is probably one of the best-sounding modern songs out there, in my opinion. No offense to modern music, but most of it just doesn't have soul to it. This song definitely has soul, and it's organic. I thought this song was from the 80's when I first heard it, but I looked it up and realized it was new. It put a smile on my face to know that good music still exists.
I've been hearing this on my alternative station for MONTHS. I finally found it a minute ago. Like a lot of commenters have said, it sounds not dated, but classic. It's nostalgic. It's just so refreshing and stands out so much from a lot of the modern songs that pay before and after it. And it's damn great too.
This was giving me 2000s-early 10s rock punk vibes.. I heard this song thinking such cause theres really no music like this nowadays.. not knowing this cameout 2019.. s/o White Reaper for this great song!
Holy shit. Heard these guys years ago as being suggested as one of the few rock bands that mattered. Man whoever that reviewer was they nailed it. First rock band that sounds like they matter to me so far this year. Hope they keep going.
These guys are the best band out there right now...just had the pleasure of seeing them live in Columbus, Ohio...Absolutely amazing! Tony's voice is on point, and their musicianship is well beyond their years...Nothing but great things for these guys...AND they seem grateful and humble with their immense talent and fortunes.
2019 did have a number of old school “new retro” rock music releases. The entire Raconteurs “Help Us Stranger” album comes to mind as does the song “Harmony Hall” by Vampire Weekend.
Yo but Im cracking up cause in some of the scenes it’s Clearly not him! Whoever is filling in for the show has their hair jacket and angle specifically placed so that you can’t see who it is. Maybe he couldn’t make it to the shoot that day?

I found this band by accident a while back. Glad they have a new album out. I'm an old guy and these guys remind me of some of the good bands from the 70's mixed with some power pop bands from 80's to today. Think they have the potential to be a really really good band. Hope they show up in Cleveland at some point.

It's like Cheap Trick, The Bay City Rollers, and The Strokes dropped acid with Rick Springfield and Nile Rodgers on a bus whilst driving to a Chess King to buy Member's Only jackets. I love it!
I keep coming back to listening to this and it is possible I always will. This song has all that is required for a timeless classic. Catchy hooks, hitting on relatable themes, isn't so on the nose with current pop culture references to be irrelevant in a decade or later, not delving too far into any extreme musically or lyrically as to be offensive to the ears or sensibilities. Five stars, will listen again.
This reminds me so much of the bands I loved growing up.... stuff like Redd Kross, Jellyfish or The Posies. I’m glad music like this still has a place in the world.

Disagree with 60s garage sound. Sounds like 80s new wave mixed with 2010s indie with sprinkle of glam rock guitar harmonies. Not my favorite but
omg...I was literally thinking how their new song Pages has elements of 70's, 80's, and 90's vibes!
That's the Darkness vibes with Thin Lizzy shadows.
And Foster the People bass.
